Not everybody is greedy to get sponsored and bringing other actors show won’t make them less greedy.

Every actors has sponsored but not everyone wants to go free vacation.

No harm in having a sponsored vacation and being a lil greedy. No big deal.

Who is sponsoring it and why ? If you're saying it's the hotel or the tourism ministry of Maldives ,then they're getting something out of it aren't they ? The actors get a free vacation and the hotels get publicity. Not a bad deal for both parties.
