Wow, another talent she has
I agree. Actually I hated Stree 2 overall and only Aaj ki Raat was the good thing about it. Stree first movie absolutely belonged to Shraddha and the director. Second part donât know what explains 600 crores. VFX was bogus, story did not land, comedy did not click, end was so bad.
Both so pretty here https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AGvgI8-vUiI&pp=ygURc2hyYWRkaGEgdnMga2lhcmE%3D
I wonder how many people went for Pankaj Tripathi's Atal, RKR's Shrikanth or Vicky Vidya whatever, nobody cares about Aparshakti and Abhishek. Okay lets imagine Stree without Shraddha and just these 4 peopleRKR toh full bhondu type character lagta hai. The movie would have no spark. And no Kriti or Kiara or Alia being Stree would not have given it so much Business.
Shraddha's last movie TJMM was a terrible movie but still it did 100cr business. Haseena was a non glam role and Shraddha does lack good acting skills. Her strength is her good looks and her feminine personality which is the reason why she has more male fan following than Alia and other actresses. Hence Shraddha in a decent movie with good songs will definitely do good Business.
Absolutely agree with your first paragraph relative to Stree 2, just that there wouldn't have been a Stree 2 without Shraddha in her role from Stree as the fist movie is the 'draw' to bring in the audience. I think there is just no point in separating the two (except for the story).
I also think that in Hindi Cinema not the so-called acting-chops are the most important but the presence on screen, the confidence of the appearance... Shraddha will have gained more confidence and though may attract more audience.
