No Uday fans in the building?
I was never a fan but I didn’t dislike him either. He wasn’t much of an actor though his Ali was sometimes more entertaining than the main characters of Dhoom. He did fine in Neal ‘n Nikki but his costar was Tanisha who ruined what otherwise could have been a silly brainless entertainer.
He certainly wasn’t the worst looking or the least talented industry kid. So I’m not sure why he just didn’t make it given his pedigree.
I took a look at his filmography and realized how less films he has done and most of them are actually multistarrers.
Despite being Yash Chopra's son and Uday Chopra's brother he never really tried to make a career as a solo hero. Maybe because he was rejected from the start itself. But still he didn't actually try to force himself on the audience, and made a matured decision to quit acting at the right time.
Yaaaas. He's the Neel, he's the man, rockstar, superstar

Haven't watched his solo hero movies.
But, I liked him in Mohabbatein, Dhoom series, Mere yaar ki shaadi hai
Sort of koteywala (privileged dalit colloquial) for a masala Bolly hero..
