I know. He is one of the very few deserving star kids and I love his work. But look at his filmography. After Raakh, he had Dil, Deewana Mujhsa Nahi, Jawaani Zindabaad to name a few in which he was okayish. He had 7 films before Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahi, in which he was really good. Its not about comparison. It about the number of chances one gets. Most of the films are taken up by the Dharma clan...in the order of Alia, Janhvi, Kiara/Sara, Ananya. Janhvi has 5 films lined up already after a terrible performance in Dhadak. Where are the films for the outsiders? Is that fair?

I found Saher Bambaa gorgeous too. The one in Karan Deol's debut film. And she wasn't half a bad actor. But she won't get the limelight or the media coverage, a Shanaya Kapoor or Khushi Kapoor will. Girls who are getting the best of best before debuting. Their debuts and follow up films must've already been planned so that they are launched and sustained for the first five years of their career.

Gone are the days when outsiders like Priyanka, Deepika, Katrina, Anushka, Aishwarya were given fair chances in films. There was a healthy balance between star kids like Kareena, Sonakshi and Sonam and the outsiders named above. The ratio was balanced.

Thats the main reason why I root for the outsiders. Ofc Tara comes from a westernised performing background and Disney which is different from Bollywood. But atleast actors like her should get a fair number of movies to prove themselves. Its very difficult to perform well in badly written movies or if the characters are half-baked and are styled badly. I am very unbiased when it comes to Bollywood but when I saw Tara's styling in SOTY2 vs Marjaavaan I couldn't believe it was the same person.

why are you clubbing Kiara with those girls?? She isn't really a Dharma kid.

Also tumhari Tara ne debut se pehle hi teen filmein sign ki, so let's not act like she is the biggest dukhiyari out there.

Also Tara ka make up abhi bhi loud aur ugly hai, so let us not make it like it was only SOTY 2 promotion times when she is doing hideous make up.

After Kiara turned out to be an insider she's done Lust Stories, Good Newwz and will be seen in Shershah. All under Dharma. I have nothing against her, I find her damn cute. But that's the truth.

Outsiders do get leftover movies whereas insiders get their scripts made for them due to connections. Lol I do not consider Tara a dukhiyari. Good for her that she signed two films post SOTY 2. But if any actress gets on board a film like Marjaavaan for their second film, you know its a leftover. No matter what they say during promotions.

Her makeup toh even I have trolled many times, idk who does it and makes her look bad. But seriously her styling in SOTY2<<<

Good. Maybe she should try out for vamp roles and she wouldn't be ignored as much? She certainly has the face for one.

you do realise how silly your first sentence sounds when you say, after she turned out to be insider, as if Kjo and co didn't knew about her connections beforehand. She debuted with a Akki Kumar production, promoted by Sallu, do you think it took 3-4 years before Kjo realised, arrey yeh toh insider hai. Kiara is just becoming Kjo's chamchi hence she is being showered with secondary roles, but she isn't a Dharma kid like Aloo or Janu.

Their is no denial outsiders don't get good commercial roles, but Tara doesn't fall in that category. You guys on one hand rave about how great her role was in Maarjavaan, and on the other hand say it wasn't a great move. Sorry what does it even mean?? Her next RX100 remake is going to be probably the best role of all the star kids she debuted with Ananya, Sara and Jhanvi have done. Sorry but yeh victimization is kinda silly. There are many outsiders more talented than Tara, and they don't even get movies which release on time, and here we are having a thread where people are complaining about nepotism for a girl who has enough media coverage and suport from industry and social media audience support. Sorry, but this oh Sara ko sideline kiya wala theory mujhe hazam nahi hoti.

No one is saying she doesnt fall in a category where she doesnt get roles at all from other banners. She falls into the category of not getting great roles from dharma. She is not like Jhanvi and Alia where she is getting tailor made roles where KJO brings in directors to work with her. thats the difference. atleast this is what I meant

The support she gets from the media is primarily the fact that she is dharma product and has generated a popularity by being associated with their banner. But in comparison to Alia and Jhanvi, she will not be spoilt with offers like them under his production.

She's got a blink-and-miss appearance. The other Disney show cast (Ishaan, Kya Mast Hai Life etc) got more screen time. Shweta Tripathi is in it too! This is what I love the most. From hardly being there in music videos, to getting her own Disney shows and now getting into Bollywood as a mainstream actress, Tara's come so far. She is the only Disney talent who successfully managed to achieve this.

Jhanvi Ananya both got movies with well known stars like Kartik and that too good content movies. While Tara gets movie with a debutant and marjaavan which no one thought would do well.

Tbh it feels like Tara was given the scraps aka marjaavan. No one thought the movie would do well. Whereas Alia Ananya Jhanvi are given movies which have higher chances of doing well like dostana 2 and biopics. Btw rx100 wasn’t due to dharma, that’s a different production. She was also considered for kabir singh first and both directors have said she’s got the look for the character so that’s why she was considered. It’s not like she was born one day and her family knew Kjo would definitely debut her one day. She’s had to work her way up and I don’t understand why it’s so wrong to point this out. No ones victimising her, most ppl like me who’ve seen her on tv just feel proud tht she’s come this far.

@Bold More talented than Alia, Ananya, Jhanvi, Kareena, Kiara too.

Tara had it easier than the others because she started as a child artist. She already had an impressive resume and a small but sizeable fanbase. She didn't do those Saas Bahu shows so she wasn't forgotten. And she balanced TV, theatre, opera and concerts. Obviously she got the leftovers. I remember she was offered Kabir Singh but left it for SOTY 2 or something...why do I think there is more to the story 😆

I think RX 100 will be the game changer. The audience hasn't known much about Ahan Shetty unlike the other star-kids. He looks like he knows what he is doing...and I get a feeling he can act.
