I'll not blame Papa Johar for this...the whole felicitation is probably orchestrated by the man standing next to Janhvi...Papa Kapoor. 😆 Karan is more into filmfares and fashion awards than such vague awards like this. Sad to see Boney doing to Janhvi what Sri's mother did to her. Being an obsessive parent. He is with her everywhere, even in that IFFI Sridevi tribute, Janhvi genuinely forgot some dialogue of a film and expressed the same and Boney suddenly butt in saying Nahi nahi usko yaad hai, kal hi dekhi hai movie abhi thodi bhool gayi (something on these lines.) I'm pretty sure now that Sara has got great reviews for her film, there will be more such 'felicitations' for Janhvi.

And someone should tell them to stop presenting Janhvi as Sridevi's replacement. It's one thing to look like your mother and other to be made to look like your mother. It might work the first time but won't work anymore. Janhvi is not Sridevi. Let her have her own identity. There can't be a second Sridevi. Coming year with her death anniversary in another two months and award function tributes, everybody will soon move on and stop thinking about Sridevi with time.

There won't be anymore 'Sridevi specials' and dedications or articles online. People will definitely remember her but the whole emotional feeling will slowly vanish. After that,no amount of 'Janhvi looking like Sridevi' is going to work. She will have to survive on her own talent and hard work so hope they all are prepared for that. No more emotiions, only work will speak! And if she does want to be a replacement of her mom or come close to her fame and success, she should be ready to come out of her sheltered life, experience life, get out of Dharma and work with different production houses,get experience and hone her skills.
