Topic Kya banaya post limit hi end ho gaya.

Anyway everyone is saying that Sonakshi is almost or fully done and dusted. I think so. She got many opportunities to become the A Lister but somewhere she loosed it.

7 back to back flops..mediocre performances..yeah she should be done and dusted but she isn't coz she keeps getting movies one after another..

people often complain of ranbir and alia..but they are at least making use of opportunities..which shows in their performances and BO..

but sonakshi is the biggest case of how nepotism gives you an edge..any outsider with 7 flops in a row and mediocre to below average acting in those would have been vanished by now

But jackie and katrinai capitalized on their strengths. Katrina aced her dancing..jacky too is a good dancer..both maintained their glamour quotient, style.

Sonakshi had her body type as a small hindrance, but she was a good actress. she should have done films with stronger characters like lootera. Even dabang was commercial but one thappar dialogue became HUGE. Rowdy rathore,saree ka fall were tacky ones plus flower pot roles. Even ram leela was chichora kind of thing..but deepika had a role where she could perform. Sonakshi lost the plot there..she dint do films with big directors or heroes.

@juba exactly. Why do actresses not realize where their strength lies? Sonakshi is a good actress with really good dialogue delivery even, but she relegated herself to stupid roles. Ok she didn't have typical BW current gen looks but she could have really set herself apart like Vidya did. I do find her very pretty.

Kat and Jacky have a sound understanding of their strengths and so they are still working and doing well. Yeah they aren't doing pathbreaking work but I don't think esp Jacky even cares about that. She will make her moolah.

i loved her in lootera, but she overall lacks a connect with the audience imo. i think alia, deepika, shraddha, parineeti, anushka katrina priyanka have a way stronger connect. but it may change with her recent releases.

i also think she lacks the passion for acting which is necessary. i feel she acts for oothers more than herself. alia, pari, shraddha have a greater love for it in comparison.
