Sonakshi Sinha to star in Chameli Ki Shaadi remake? - Page 3

Seen CKS for the first time few days back on TV. Missed the start , catched from the part where the advocate was giving Tips & money to charandas to pass his restaurant test organized by chameli & her friend.

Chameli ki shaadi was a fantastic film. Love that film. Sonakshi is a great choice, she has a really good comic timing and has that Indian appeal. She is big boned just like Amrita Singh too. So I can definitely see her as Chameli. Finally a remake with a good actress in place.

The movie was hilarious and Sona fits the bill totally...

Who will play Amjad Khan's role ? Plz no Boman Irani

OMG !!! Though I dislike remakes but this one sounds very good!! CKS is one of my favorite 90s movies & its HILARIOUS!! Amrita Singh was excellent in it but Sona would do justice to her role! Can't wait!!!

I was so used to of reading body shaming and name calling comments about her on this forum.

I just hope they don't ruin it coz it would be extremely difficult to adapt it according to today's scenario.

Why don't big prod houses sign her?? She isn't moody like bebo to quit in between. She can work well.
