Whr it is not atleast in india...????


Everywhere...man fights.-ppl say wow...such a man...woman fights-domijating arrogant all sorts of adjectives one will learn for gre...

Chauvinism is evrywhr...it needs to go down...men arguing for it is understandable because they r the accused...but when woman argue in favour of it, it is bizzarre...its beyond me...

She is right. Telugu film industry is the worst in this respect.

Here she is speaking about the way actresses are treated in the Telugu film industry, as in..they aren't given any respect. The way she puts it, the situation really looks horrible.

want to listen to people who actually watch telugu movies and follow them to give some comments because I have no idea so they would have much better insight

I saw it...I know...n I hav seen girls praising this too which is pathetic for me...I hav read this type of case in tollywood somewhrelse...I dont remember exactly...probably illeana told once...I personally deal with this in my ofc...so I can understand...something should be done...but what it is ...noone knows...education at schools may be...

Another example was Samantha who was bullied for not liking the poster of a Mahesh Babu film.
The way women are portrayed in most films is terrible. PD's films are a trailer of the same.

I do watch Telugu movies but don't have much idea about the way industry functions. I do know about the nepotism though, it is much worse than Bollywood. 👎🏼 Coming to the films, some of them are really regressive. Not all, but some. And watching such movies is so difficult. 🥱

Ileana said the same thing, but brought up wrong examples.

Used conflated example of respect to seniors and directors. Which while the chauvinism present overall also goes into it, by itself is not the example of chauvinism and should not have been used as the prime example.
