Dhadkhan 2 to be Directed By Vikram Bhatt

Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Shilpa Shetty starrer Dhadkan' (2000) is set for a sequel. BizAsia has learnt that Vikram Bhatt will be directing the second instalment.
Ratan Jain will be producing the film and told Box Office India, "Yes, we have signed Vikram Bhatt and he will be directing the sequel to our superhit film Dhadkan. We worked together in Elaan and have since wanted to work together for a very long time. Everything fell in place for the musical sequel to Dhadkan. The film will go on the floors in March next year".
It still remains to be seen who will be finalised for the film and also whether any of the original actors will also reprise their roles.

I like Dhadkan...Suniel is irritating as usual but rest I like it. Especially the music.

That dialogue "main tumhe bhool jaaon aisa ho nahin sakta, tum mujhe bhool jaao main aisa hone nahin doonga." is hilarious. Still looking forward to it.

btw this will be a sequel. ..not a remake?

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt is set to helm Dhadkan 2, which will roll from March 2015.

"Yes, I have approached Vikram and we are working on the script right now. It's too early to talk about the star cast, but, yes, Vikram will be directing the film," producer Ratan Jain, who worked with Vikram on Elaan in 2005, told IANS.

"We still have to decide whether to rope in newcomers or established stars. We will start shooting from March 2015," he added.

Dhadkan 2 will be a sequel to 2000 release Dhadkan. Directed by Dharmesh Darshan, Dhadkan featured Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Shilpa Shetty.
