@green: Comparing on looks is subjective. I see nothing great in Ash, find her beauty to be over rated( Taking Ash's case here coz i know you like her and gush about her, not trying to get personal , just drawing a difference ) , but there are many who find Ash beautiful , just because i dont find Ash to be that beautiful doesnt mean she isnt beautiful, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Same holds good for acting, there are a few who find her to be a good actor same like there are few who find Ash, Dp, Alia and few others to be good actors.

@red: Who said we are stuck?? Just because an actress time has passed we are not supposed to talk about her or does she become irrelevant??

Its like if an young actor says my role model in AB Sr, then we have to say him his time has passed move on and choose one from present generation who is all about BO pull..

Which actor does not like appreciation from fans ?? They are actors, they all work their ass off and crave for it.. Its the fans/audience that can actually make or break them..

If a singer goes to any show, they ask him to sing.. If a comedian like kapil goes somewhere they ask him to do comedy( as said by him), if they see a choreographer fans asks them to dance(as said by Remo and terrence themselves), many people see madhuri to be iconic specially for her bollywood dancing and ask her to dance , how is it different from others doing it and madhuri doing it. It makes all the others professionals with class and madhuri the classless one. Nice😆

You accept it or not, Madhuri is a STAR.. may be other's definition of a STAR is different from you and im happy that it is..

Who isnt pretentious in this industry. And plz, everyone works their butt off to be where they are, could be anyone.Even star kids they might get the initial push, but to make it big they need their own talent and charm.

Sridevi and Amitabh are class actors no denial there and this topic isnt even trying to put them down in anyway..

A women of madhuri's age working , earning and making her own money using her talent is a NO NO.. buhooo.

and geez, i will never understand why everyone insists on treating Madhuri like some sati savitri/bharatiya nari goddess who is the paragon of chastity and virtue when she is far from it? Like dude, Madhuri was the epitome of vulgarity in the late 80s and mid 90s. Who can forget Aaj phir tumpe from Dayavan, Dhak Dhak( one of the most vulgar dances), Choli ke peeche kya hai(a suggestive song about blouse and breasts) ,the love making scene from Parinda, the scene from Beta before Saiyan ji se chupke and the dance itself..and she continued with such cheap stuff until her Aunty age..so the bottom line is, Madhuri gave cheap and vulgar scenes with almost all her co stars, be it Jacky in Vardi, Anil in Beta/Parinda, smooched Chunkey Pandey in Khilaaf , had a sex scene with Sanjay Kapoor in Raja and that dirty scene with Akshay in Aarzoo where he bites her feet and the so called sati savitri laughs 🤢

I made the topic not to judge the celebs, but was hoping to discuss Madhuri's acting prowess viz-a-viz her dancing nd star persona nd it took a different turn altogether, but posting dis article is just taking d whole thing to another level altogether.
