Exclusive - Bigg Boss 14 contestant Rahul Vaidya denies dating Pyaar Ka Dard Hai actress Disha Parmar; says 'I am open to finding love on the show'Vijaya Tiwari
Indian Idol fame singer Rahul Vaidya made a smashing entry on Bigg Boss 14last night. He mesmerised everyone with his soulful voice. On the show, Rahul's love life was also discussed and he admitted in front of host Salman Khan that he is open to finding love in the Bigg Boss 14 house. However, not many people are aware that last year the singer was rumoured to be dating Pyaar Ka Dard Hai actress Disha Parmar. Recently, in an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV before entering the house, Rahul shared that Disha and he are just friends and they are not dating each other.
"Honestly, Disha Parmar is just a good friend. We were never in love and there was nothing going on between us. I have a lot of female friends with whom I go on dinners, but what happens is that since Disha is famous we get linked together. I put up pictures with other female friends also, but as they are not famous I don't get linked with them. But whenever I share pictures with Disha Parmar people start discussing that we are dating each other. Also, we have done a music video together so we got linked," said he.
When asked if he is open to fall in love in the reality show, Rahul said, "I am open to love but it needs to be real yaar. It cannot be just fake love because at the end of the day the audience will get to know. The connection I make inside to be real for me to feel and see it."
The young singer also stated that no one can ever plan to fall in love, "You never know and I feel you cannot plan to fall in love. Love plans to make you fall in it. I won't shy away from expressing my love if I really like someone," he said.
Rahul, who was a contestant on Indian Idol 1 has come a long way into the industry. On Bigg Boss 14, the singer shared that he is part of a band and they perform live shows world wide, but due to the lockdown since he had a lot of time, he decided to do the show.
