Chapter 5
Later that very night Pratap glared at the closed doors of his room as he walked towards the guest room where he had been relocated all thanks to the uninvited thankless girl Ajabde. What sort of a name is Ajabde? He grumbled as he fell back on the bed with his hands behind his head as he stared at the ceiling. He knew it was too late to do anything at the moment so he closed his eyes trying to fall asleep - he tossed and turned hoping for sleep to come to him but to no avail. Finally he decided to read the book his grandfather had gifted - The Art of War was a master piece and he loved reading it again and again but as soon as his eyes fell on the first line he found himself drifting off into slumber.
Clink...clink...clink the noises were irritating him so much so that he placed the pillow over his head but the noise didn't stop. Grumbling he stood up looking at the source of the noise- it was coming from the window. He opened the windows and peeped outside when a soft pebble hit him directly on his forehead
Ouch he rubbed the area where the pebble hit him

Pratap's eyes widened in disbelief as he realised that the troublemaker was the she- devil itself Tum!!!! Aadhi raat ko mere room mein kya kar rahi ho? Aur yeh kya pehna hai tumne?
He made a face as Ajabde looked down at her night clothes - shorts with a simple tee that read Panga Na Lena. She looked at his red face and smiled
Itni jaldi guestroom ko apna room maan liya tumne mujhe toh laga ki mere saath fight karoge tum. Chalo accha hai
Pratap: I just decided ki tum guest ho yahan so Athiti devo bhava ko follow karoon main kaunsa poori life tum yahan rahogi
Ajabde: Aur agar main yeh kahoon ki main yahin rehne waali hoon hamesha toh
Pratap: Tum yahan kyun aayi ho?
Ajabde: Ab poocha tumne important sawaal- mujhe bhook lagi hai. Kuch khaane ko dona mereko
Pratap stared at the girl incredulously: Tum yahan aadhi raat ko mere se khaana maangne aayi ho? Main kya tumhara personal chef hoon jo tumhe khaana doon
Ajabde: Pehli baat it's not aadhi raat - time is 2:30AM, dusri baat main pehle Daadi ke paas jaa rahi thi phir yaad aaya ki woh dadaji medicine lekar sote hain toh unko disturb karna theek nahi hai and mereko sirf yeh pata tha ki tum iss room mein aur logon ka idea nahi hai. Aur tumne just abhi bola na ki tum Athithi devo bhava main believe karte ho - toh tumhaari athithi is hungry re- khaane ko kuch toh do
Pratap: Kaisi musibat hai...chalo tumko khaana dete hain
