Can anyone decipher Meera Ma's expression when Ram says 'I love you yaar'? For once it looked like she was upset or disappointed not cheerful like RaYa gang.
Also, she and Mami stood up at the same time and Nandini after. Do you see any symbolism in this?
Priya herself might justify it when she recollects herself telling repeatedly that she didn’t want to know about his ex. But she will definitely take multiple steps backwards. If Ram doesn’t get to know about Priya knowing the truth and if an open & honest discussion doesn’t happen, she would start connecting dots from the past incidents which will further alienate her from Ram.
Separation if there is one will happen only after confession.
Separation not happening was confirmed from all symbolism. This is angst track leading to a huge argument. I guess Ram will be in angry mode all the time cursing himself for his deal of no love

I think they are capable of writing well… just that they have to churn out so much in so little time is what makes it a bit jarring for quality… that is ok, it will be a patch, but the things should pick up later… we can’t keep waiting around , in the age of ott. Fd gets fragmented if the story line becomes unrelatable to the original promise of urban mature post marriage love story…
Also this time, the side characters are all potential arc materials, not just flat discs to further the story…
the main characters also have flaws, their core values match, principles of morals match,
but their operational skills and world veiws and visions of upkeep of resources don’t match…
The little to large conflicts can form the story line, not just mu’s and dramas… they can be there but always a drama is like serial ek sardadi 🤣, intricate weave of side characters’ involvement and improvement over a period of time can propel this particular soap as tv’s new era defining series.
You could be right about creatives being capable, but not having the time. The problem with Indian TV is that they don’t have a broad outline of the show before it starts, they start with material for few weeks, then improvise based on feedback, availability of actors, etc
The one major difference I see is this season of BALH compared to season 1 is that lack of focus on the side characters. Vik-Neha (Adi-Bri) of BALH1 had 3 kids because of which we got a cute track of RaYa babysitting the kids, Natasha (Shivi) wasn’t a prop, she owned a fashion studio, she was responsible of many of the MUs unlike the ex angle MU here. We don’t even get to see Sara’s family, is it believable that her kid won’t attend Priya’s wedding?
Main characters having flaws is a good thing, that makes them human. My general observation of tv shows is that the emotions of main characters is same as normal people, but dialled up to nine, while their intelligence is severely compromised just to create dram.
