At the Maha Shivratri Pooja , Vanraj performs the Abhishek along with his wife Kavya, MaAn take part in Pooja, Pakhi Adhik, Kinjal Toshu all take part in Pooja Aarti .
Then there is katha by Vanraj, Anupama, Anuj and Babuji on the mythological stories around Maha Shivratri . Babuji ends his Pravachan by stating Parvati made Shuva very happy when she decked herself in jewellery gifted by him, so on this auspicious day all wives should wear jewellery given by their husbands . He produces a try full of kangans he has purchased for all the couples . Baa gifts Leela a pair of kangans. Anuj puts kangan on Anupama, Pakhi wears them as Adhik puts them on her wrists, Toshu hands Kinjal a pair. VanYa have glaring session as he puts kangan on her. Kavya keeps observing Maaya as she keeps staring at Anuj .Anupama is unawares about this n gets suspicious sometimes .
Maaya wants to ear Anuj’s kangans but has no means to demand the same so she pulls out string from his scarf and winds it on her wrist n caresses it fondly as if it was a fetish. Kavya observes this and feels horrible about betraying Anupama.
Samar puts kangan on Dimple and all are surprised . Baa lashes out at Samar but he ignores her n nonchallantly places the kangans on her . Babuji calms Baa. Dimple is surprised Samar did this in full view of his entire family .
Anupama asks Kavya what was troubling her. Kavya can hold her feelings no more n hugs Anupama n breaks down.Anupama consoles Kavaya and asks why she was so upset .
Even Baa wonders what was wrong with Kavya .
Finally Kavya reveals to Anupama, all Maaya’s intentions.

Anuj then asks Maaya to leave the arm with her nags n baggages .
