[NOCOPY]

Smita,😊

Here is the interpretation to Section 1 of Part 45.

When Arnav rushed away from RM without giving the ladies any chance to remark, Anjali with a straight face, pouted saying, that Chotey didn't even want to play the ring-in-the-milk game! and promptly broke into a fit of giggles along with the rest. Mami with her ready wit and with laughter, told her, that he would be playing other games with his wife in private! All the Raizadas and the Guptas had a hearty laugh.

Ganesh, stopped his car in front of his cottage and opened the door for Anamika. She stepped out in her wedding finery and had her first glimpse of the pretty little cottage that stood by the placid lake. She took in the serenity that the whole area was enveloped in. She could see the waters reflecting the light falling on it, the ripples caused by the gentle breeze, shimmering in the wake of the light giving it a tranquil glow. Other than the gentle breeze and the ripples in the water everything else seemed to stand still, waiting with a bated breath to welcome her. Anamika breathing in deep, appreciated the tranquility, and the fresh air saying, It is beautiful! Ganesh with a smile hauled out their bags and led her in. The interior was as stunning as its location, with cream walls, setting off the potted plants, cane furniture with chocolate and orange cushions thrown in giving it an ethnic yet chic look. It was simple yet elegant and moreover had a cozy feeling to it. It held a feeling of warmth in it. Anamika looking around felt at peace. It had a relaxed atmosphere just like her man.

Ganesh led her to the master bed room. It was a big room with a king size bed fit for a man of his size. He told her with a smile, that Gaurav usually occupied the room next door, making Anamika hook up an eyebrow and ask, how come he never brought her there? Ganesh striding up and pausing in front of her, his eyes tracing her lovely form and coming to rest on her beautiful face noting each and every detail told her quietly with a smile, that there is a time and place for everything, it seems. Anamika could only nod at him. She who knew of the time wasted and could not agree more with him. He continued to say softly, that it is no use hurrying fate, while his fingers gently traced the curve of her cheek and coming to rest at her chin. Anamika, closed her eyes in pleasure at the feel of his touch and raising her face to him hoping that he would take it as an invitation. Ganesh swallowing his nervousness, placed a chaste, soft kiss on her forehead. He knew what it would have cost her to make this small gesture that she had made. Whispering, One minute, he turned away to open a cabinet, making Anamika to look at him dazedly. In the cabinet were chains of flowers that were tied together at one end and a bag full of aromatic red rose petals. Telling her, that he wanted to decorate the bed for her, Ganesh began to take the long chains and the rest of the trappings out. Touched by his thoughtfulness of wanting to give her a traditional suhaag raat, Anamika told him, that he need not do it. But Ganesh determined to give her one said, he wanted to, upturned the bag of petals on the bed and began to make a shape of heart out of them. His attempt resulted in an askewed heart that ended up looking more like an egg. He set about to redo it saying, that he wanted her to have everything that she missed out on. And he wanted to give them to her. Anamika observed his serious face that was concentrating on the work at hand. His determination to give her all that a bride ever hankered for, touched her heart. Clambering on to the bed with finery and all, she began helping him and soon came up with a reasonably heart shaped floral design on the bed. Giving it a satisfied look, asking Anamika to sit on the bed, Ganesh fixed the remaining stuff over head and arranged the floral chains to cascade around the bed.

Standing back at a distance he looked at her and found that she was an epitome of a princess, a smiling princess. Anamika quickly pulled her duppatta down her face like a ghunghat and sat in the typical traditional pose. Ganesh lit all the perfumed candles around the bed and dimmed the lights. Anamika observed through her veil and the curtain of flowers like a typical photographer he was looking at the picture she made with rapt attention, with the backdrop of romantic set up making Anamika smile and her eyes aglow with pride and love. Though he was carried away by the picturesque visual it presented, Anamika was not in a mood to let him appreciate her only visually. Giving him a tender smile that went straight to his heart, she stretched her arms out, welcoming him into her embrace. It had a telling effect. All doubts were erased and with a spring in his steps, Ganesh walked towards his bride nouveau.

Arnav and Khushi sat silently in the car while he drove to the farm house. Each one was engrossed in their thoughts, but aware of the other all the time, once in a while sharing their glances and smiles. Arnav clasping her fingers with one hand pressed them lovingly and promised that they were quite close-by and it was a matter of few more minutes. Khushi nodded. When Arnav asked her, whether she enjoyed the wedding? with utter glee she told him, that Very much. It was such fun! And all her friends were there. Munshiji, Preetho, Koelji.. making Arnav's heart bloom at her joy. When struck with a thought, a worried Khushi asked him, does he think that the family felt bad for going away without playing games, he smiled and told her, that they would have understood that his patience was at the end of its tether, silencing her. After a while, Khushi asked him, Anamikaji and Ganeshji looked good together, didn't they? Arnav nodded in agreement and looked at her. With a dreamy smile she told him, that their wedding was just as she had dreamed, in her childhood, with lights, flowers, Buaji, Amma, Babuji, Jiji, her friends, her new family' When she paused, he prodded with a hint of a smile on his lips, and your groom? Khushi frowned saying, that she had not known about him then. So she had not dreamt of him, making his smile burst out. With a face that had happiness etched all over, she continued to describe her dream saying, and the feast! Yummy! With mountains of jalebi! had Arnav cough to cover up his laughter. Looking at the road ahead, he realized that they were close to the farm house. Khushi with eagerness asked, whether he liked the wedding? Arnav true to his self admitted with a naughty smile lurking on his lips and eyes twinkling with delight, that he liked the wedding very much but he was going to like suhaag raat much more. Khushi stared at him in silence and then turned her face away to peer outside through the glass. Arnav noticed with utmost pleasure that her breathing had deepened. Parking his vehicle in the courtyard of his farm house, alighting, he asked Khushi, to remain as she was and he would be back in a moment. Khushi looking around curiously agreed to his request. A house boy came out to carry their luggage in and Arnav went along with him to check all the arrangements and set things to his satisfaction. He took the keys from the boy as he left the premises. Now with the farmhouse empty in accordance with his plans, it was time for him and his bride to start their life together. Returning to the car, opening her door, he stopped Khushi when she put her foot down to alight making her look at him with question in her eyes. Gathering her in his arms, he looked at her beautiful face cradled against his shoulder. Khushi with a smile, hugged him, putting her right arm around his shoulder and her left hand held on to his collar, feeling safe and snug ensconced in his arm as he walked into the house. Once inside, in a soft, gentle voice, with his eyes never leaving hers, he asked her, to close the door and Khushi complied by leaning up from her perch in his arms. As soon as it was done, Arnav carried her up the wide stairs to his room, his eyes trapping hers.

Pausing at the entrance to the bedroom, he looked towards the bed. When Khushi followed his gaze, she gasped and found the room was decorated with roses, jasmine and rajnigandha. The bed was curtained with strings of fragrant blossoms cascading from a bower above. Fairy lights, candles and a basket of fruits completed the set up. Khushi was stunned to see the room as picturesque as a fairyland and stammered, how' when? Arnav told her, that he had asked Aman to arrange it. Khushi was stunned to hear it and asked, Amanji! Amanji did this? making Arnav clarify, that Aman must have contacted someone to do the needful and asked, did she like it? Khushi nodded clinging to him. Carrying her to the bed, placing her gently on it, laying her on her back, with her head on the fluffy pillow, he got in beside her.

This update is about the beginning of a journey, a new life and so is titled EMBARK ON..

When Anjali with a pseudo pout complained, Chotey did not even want to play the traditional game, she along with the ladies could be heard coming out in peals of laughter. Mami's comment in her incorrigible way, that he would now take up playing other games with his wife in private had the rest laughing. Arnav who had been waiting to get his wife alone and who had respected her sense of propriety, now that she was legally his wife had wanted his wife alone and had refused to even consider to spend time with his family, whom, he and Khushi knew would neither leave them alone nor stop merciless teasings. So he took to road and sped off to his farm house where he intended to spend his honeymoon with his bride! He was eager to commence his new life with Khushi, his coveted treasure.

"The beginning is the most important part of the work"

~ Plato

Ganesh and Anamika whose destination was his cottage by the lake, a place filled with scenic beauty and tranquility too were looking forward to their time together. Ganesh who knew, how difficult it was for Anamika to have any physical relationship due to her past was hell bent on giving her good memories. He knew that she has opened up and had begun to want him. But he was apprehensive. So far their physical relationship had been confined to just touching and kissing. Though she had blossomed in the warmth of his love and gentle wooing, he was apprehensive of the bad memories being triggered when they become physically intimate. Already the emotional attachment exists between them. It is the physical aspect that he is worried about. He does not want her to relive those bad memories, and he wants them to be erased whenever they become intimate. He wants their suhaag raat to be memorable, enabling it to supercede all the previous unwanted memories, that had become a nightmare to her, that she has been carrying with her. So when they enter the bedroom, he wants to make it special for her. Even when she says, it is fine with her not being decorated, does not change his resolve. He is one determined person who has wooed her gingerly to help her come out of her trauma. He wants even the heart shape formed out of the red flower petals to be perfect. Such is his love for Anamika that he wants to launch into physical aspect of their relationship with her at ease and wants her to start and set the pace. So once the decorations are ready, the photographer in him treasures the picture she made in his minds eye and stashes it inside for safe keeping. He waits for her to initiate and then take it up. Anamika who has realized that Ganesh will not take up the initiative unless she shows her willingness, raises her arms in call for him, into her embrace showing him that she too was waiting for him as he had been for her for the past 20 years. This particular gesture of hers was enough to bring a spring in his step and begin their journey together.

"No river can return to it's source, yet all rivers must have a beginning"

Arnav and Khushi who had escaped all the teasings from their family due to the intelligent move of Arnav, were happy and eager to take their relationship to the next level. When he asked her how she found the wedding, she told that she was happy and it was just like her dream wedding that had come true. She listed all the people whom she had imagined to be present and in that list, Arnav had not featured but Jalebis had a prominent place! Her reasoning that she had not known him so he wasn't featured in her dream wedding made him feel like laughing but suppressed it using his will power. She had been happy even to see all her friends over there but was skirting certain issues which he found endearing. When she asked him how was it for him, he replied blatantly, he liked it very much but, he was going to like their suhaag raat even more. This was how he broached the topic of suhaag raat. Khushi who used to talk nineteen to the dozen till then, suddenly went quiet and started to look through the window outside. But Arnav noticed with extreme pleasure her deepened breathing. With this talk of suhaag raat he has set her mind to think about it and mentally prepare herself. By giving his opinion, he showed her that the idea of pleasure does differ. Through all these rituals he had been eagerly waiting for the suhaag raat and had been waiting for her patiently.

"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them"

~ Walt Disney Company

He had arranged the farm house to be empty with just the two of them. Once inside the farm house, he showed her how much he had anticipated to be with her alone with all the arrangements and decorations that he had got it done. He had transformed the bed room into a Wonderland, for an enchanted night, a befitting night to commence the new life with the Queen of his Heart. He showed that he would cherish her all through his life by lifting her and carrying her all the way through to their bedroom. He placed her on her back on the soft bed with her head resting on the fluffy pillow and got in beside her. With all the decorations he had got done, he had extended her dream wedding to their suhaag raat. If she had always thought of a dream wedding, he had thought of a dream suhaag raat, to embark on their journey together.
