Here is the interpretation to Part 31.

Anamika who had been used to a lonely life was surprised to see the entire battalion of Raizadas and Guptas in her house plying her with gifts. Ganesh, ASR, Babuji, Mamaji, Akash and NK were all smiles and the ladies were chattering with excitement and happiness. Gaurav was dumbstruck, and Scooby, was winding its way in the maze of legs hoping for bits and pieces of the tasty sweets from the many boxes on the low table. Anamika unable to understand the significance asked, why?, making Nani explain that, it was a part of wedding ritual. The groom's family welcomes the bride into the family with gifts and it was an age old tradition. Mami, in her version of mixed up hinglish added, that the bride is booked by the broom, and after this she cannot run away, Hello Hi Bye Bye!, making Gaurav choke. Buaji seeing his look of consternation asked him, to observe all the rasams properly as he would have to do it when he gets married. When he shuddered by mere thought of it, all had a hearty laugh.

Anjali asked Anamika whether her guest list was ready? And Khushi pitched in with, whether the draft of the invite been done as they needed to get it printed. Anamika who had not thought about it at all just looked at Ganesh confounded. Ganesh explained to Khushi, that he don't have many people to invite and he would like to invite Sana and Vinni and their familes only. Gaurav and Anamika, he felt would like Koel and the other ladies in the main studio to be present and that was their list of invitees. Anamika agreeing with it told them, there was no one else other than the Raizadas, NK and Guptas. When she asked her son, has she left out anybody? he with a smile and shake of his head told them, just Scooby, the other member of his family. That brought in a smile on every face there.

Mami, with her insatiable curiosity and in her version of Hinglish asked Anamika, doesn't she want to invite all the princesses and actors who get their clothes designed by her? Anamika, who by now had got used to Mamiji's curious ways, answered with a smile, that all of them are mere business acquaintances and not friends. Buaji with hesitation told her that, she and Ganesh Bitwaa know a lot of people who are rich, powerful.., Mami added, film actors.. and Nani completed Buaji's question with, don't they want a fancy wedding? Anamika smiling at Ganesh told them, that she doesn't and they don't want it too, bringing a smile on Ganesh's face.

After looking at Anamika and Gaurav, Ganesh said that, 15th was fixed as ASR and Khushi's wedding day. After their wedding, Anamika and he would marry in the same mandap. Nani with an anxious note asked him, don't they want a separate mandap? Ganesh smiling at her told Nani, that one will suffice as they would want their ceremony only after ASR and Khushi's wedding, making Anamika bob her head in agreement. It made Buaji ask, then why not hold all the rasams of sagai, sangeet, mehendi and haldi along with Arnav Bitwaa and Titliyaa? This suggestion had all express their eagerness, making Ganesh and Anamika accept their offer. With that Mamiji declared, then its Sagai on Monday for both the couples, bringing a loud cheer from the crowd.

Maniram Jewellers, the Family Jewellers, renowned for their collection of Jewels of prestigious craftsmanship were chosen by both the couples. It had breathtaking jewellery in a broad selection of fine metals and stones. Be it platinum, gold, diamonds or pearls, or any other stones their faultless creations were made to meet the tasteful demands of discerning clientele. It was a huge showroom with rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, chains, anklets of diamonds, rubies, sapphires, tanzanite, emeralds, jades, corals and many others on display.

Ganesh asked Anamika, what would she like to have? Her tentative, a diamond, soon changed into an affirmative with, the engagement rings are supposed to be diamond rings. At Ganesh's request, numerous trays laden with engagement rings were brought out for them. It held solitaires to multi-stoned in antique, unusual or simple settings of gold, white gold and platinum, a visual treat. Anamika looking at her slender, long fingers whispered, could they go in for a simple ring with a small diamond. She felt that what was shown were too heavy and in jest told him that she might have to ask Koel and Gaurav to prop her if one among shown was chosen, making Ganesh chuckle at her subtle humor.

Meanwhile Khushi was looking at the sparkling diamond rings placed in front of her with a forlorn look. Arnav watching her face, bit back his laughter and asked, what happened Khushi? Has none of them caught her eye? She nodded to confirm, that none of them had been to her taste. The assistants moving away the trays brought in a fresh set, but still Khushi had a frown. Arnav picking up the subtle nuances, suppressing his laughter, asked her whether she does not like diamonds? Khushi scrunching up her face showed her distaste and said that, they were so dull and lifeless without any color in them. She had felt that it was not much of fun to wear a stone without color in it. The sales assistant was dumbstruck and with a shock she thought, this moronic species of a woman was rejecting the King of Gemstones worth a king's ransom for a bit of stone that would be worth just a tuppence in comparison! Arnav, was unable to control the tremors that shook his body due to stifled silent laughter. He asked the assistants, to show them the rings with precious stones, that too colourful ones.

When Khushi was shown a sea of ruby, emerald, jade, amethyst, sapphire and turquoise rings she happily examined each of them with care before moving to the next. Arnav sat patiently, watching her, amused. Finally when she chose and asked him, whether she could take it? as it had both their hearts in it, it was a two heart shaped ruby in white gold flanked by two small diamonds set inside the hearts. It was a timeless beauty that vied with her.

(Ruby, the Most Powerful Gem in the Universe is a symbol of love, friendship, vitality and royalty. It's a love stone, the stone of fire and passion. It also stands for contentment and peace. When flanked by diamonds it is an absolute beauty.

Diamonds, the King of Gems stands for innocence, constancy, balance, clarity, abundance, invinciblity and indestructiblity)

Arnav nodded swallowing hard. He was overwhelmed by her choice. He understood her need to always have him close to her heart. Taking the ring out of its box, holding her hand he gently placed it on her ring finger. Seeing her hand tremble, he asked, whether it hurt her? When she nodded to say, that it did, he was concerned and asking, where? started to look for a cut or bruise on her finger. Placing her right hand over her heart Khushi whispered, here, to have Arnav freeze for a moment, and unheeding the eyes of the shop assistants and the customers flocking around, the normally undemonstrative, khadoos, akhdoo Arnav Singh Raizada kissed Khushi Kumari Gupta's rosy cheeks and matched it with the stone on her finger.

Anamika chose a slender platinum band with a row of nine small diamonds.

(Plantinum is representative of endurance, overcoming challenges, determination and grit.

Diamonds I have already dealt with.

The number nine stands for longlasting)

When she asked Ganesh whether he liked it? he countered it with, whether she liked it. At her nod, he said, that it was perfect. Anamika leaning against him, revelling in the warmth and the sandalwood fragrance that exuded from him, thought that she had been cold so long and far too long. Taking the tiny ring in his big fingers, he told her it needed to be tried for size and sought her permission to put it on her fingers by asking shall I and continued to say, or she could do it by herself, holding out the ring to her. Anamika, moving her eyes from the ring to Ganesh's soft warm eyes, slowly extended her hand. Holding out his open palm for her to place her hand and once Anamika placed her hand, he gently placed the ring on her finger. It was a perfect fit and Ganesh said it so and it looked beautiful on her slender delicate hand. Anamika watched him looking at the ring, his head bent and say that, she had made a perfect choice. With a smile dancing on her lips, that had her eyes twinkle, she affirmed his statement with a soft, I have, leaning forward, pressed a hard kiss on his cheek.

This update clearly established , beyond doubt certain facts. It was APODICTIC.

Anamika when plied with gifts from the Raizadas and the Guptas comes to know its part of the wedding rasam. They clearly establish that they would see that she and Ganesh have a wedding, with all the rituals, just like Khushi and ASR. They take the side of both the bride as well as the groom.

When asked about the guests and invitation, both Anamika and Ganesh clearly state that, only a handful of people other than Raizadas', Guptas' and NK are to be invited by them. And the business acquaintances, be it princesses or actors, they remain so. When Gaurav is asked about whom he wants to invite he says its same as his parents and along with it Scooby. This clearly established, just like Raizadas' whose family is incomplete without Laxmi, Gaurav too feels his family is incomplete without Scooby.

"Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart"

~ Eleanor Roosevelt

Ganesh and Anamika want ASR and Khushi to be wedded first and in the same mandap they too would have their nuptial knot tied. They clearly stated, beyond doubt that they did not want to steal the limelight out of the other couple.

The family in toto, voices out for the double wedding with all the rituals done together, making Anamika and Ganesh accept with gratitude. They are shown beyond doubt that they too form a part of their extended family.

Gaurav, was given clear indication that his marriage too, would be conducted in a similar way.

"We must take care of our families wherever we find them"

~ Elizabeth Gilbert

Once at the jewelers, Anamika opts for diamonds, the King of Gems for engagement ring and her choice of simple but elegant ring in platinum with a row of 9 small diamonds clearly established that though in show business, she liked things to be simple, attractive and elegant.

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication"

~ Leonardo da Vinci

When Khushi is shown sparkling diamond rings that any girl would love to possess, she finds diamonds, dull and cold. For her, it's the colourful stones that are of interest. Her description of diamond as dull and lifeless has Arnav in silent splits but the shop assistants in shell shock! They had never heard anyone describing those expensive stones as baubles. Her choice of heart shaped red rubies, clearly established to him that more than the money it's the feel that was important. She had felt diamonds to be cold but rubies were warm stones, a symbol of love and with two hearts on her fingers were a symbol of their love.

(As per the traditional belief, the engagement ring is placed on the ring finger of the left hand that has direct link to the heart, it is not really true. All fingers have veins that carry blood to the heart)

"The spirit of a man is constructed out of his choices"

~ Irvin D. Yalom, When Nietzsche Wept

When Arnav places the ring on her finger and asks whether it hurt her she says, yes, and when asked where? she indicates her heart, stunning him. This action, the choice of stone and her tone established beyond doubt that she who has started to open up off late, was learning quickly and the fire and the passion symbolized by ruby that was burning within him was burning in her too. He clearly established that while he was Burning In Her Love, he was unmindful of the audience and kissed her. She needed to be careful of whatever she utters, if she does not want to be embarrassed. He was very proud to have her as his wife. For him she was the ultimate woman, the one whom he adored and desired. In front of Khushi Kumari Gupta's love, gone was the undemonstrative, khadoos, akhdoo Arnav Singh Raizada and for better or for worse, in his place was the Aashik Singh Raizada.

"What people have the capacity to choose, they have the ability to change"

~ Madeleine Albright

When complimented by Ganesh for having great taste Anamika concurs with him, implying her choice of partner, and kisses him on his cheeks. This clearly established that she has opened up and acknowledging him as her love publicly, was a freedom that she cherished. She was coming out of her trauma that had shackled her within herself for the past 22 years. All thanks to his support and understanding, the healing process was progressing at a rapid pace. His patience was paying off.

"Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there someday"

~ A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

That is why it is APODICTIC.
