At around 6.30 in the morning Armaan and rest left lonavla. Riddhima was sitting on the front seat with Armaan who was driving his SUV. Atul and Anjali occupied the passengers seat while Rahul and Muskaan occupied the back seats. They all were sleeping except Atul and Armaan, Atul was reading his patient's case history on whom he was operating and Armaan ofcourse coz he wad driving.
"Champ jab yeh rakshas ki sena so rahi hoti hai kitni shaanti hoti hai na humaare jeewan main" Armaan joked and laughed."Absolutely right mere bhai" Atul agreed. Suddenly Armaan's gaze fell on Riddhima who was looking like sleeping beauty in her slumber. Her cheeks were giving red tinge of color due to cold and some of her hair fringes were falling on her face. Her lips were also shimmering and were looking luscious. A sudden urge ignited in Armaan to kiss those lips and savor their taste, but suddenly he reprimanded his feelings and diverted his attention on driving. He felt Riddhima tossing probably she was getting disturbed by her hair, so Armaan pushed those fringes behind her ear very carefully. He was continually adoring the beauty and was giving a goofy smile. "Armaan mujhe zinda Sanjeevani pahunchna hai, please concentrate on road rather than on Riddhima" Atul reprimanded. Atul's words striked his nerve cells and reality struck him "Abe saale I am concentrating on road only, you keep your advice with you; else I will deliberately make an accident" said Armaan. "Oye hero bechare Atul ko dara mat" said Muskaan who was awake due to continous bickering of her friends. "Moti tu so rahi thi ya humari batein sun rahi thi"asked Armaan. "Do you guys think I can sleep in your continuous jabber?" Replied Muskaan. Armaan rolled his eyes and shook his head in desperation and sighed "My friends"
At around 7.30 they reached Mumbai. Armaan dropped his friends to their respective homes and then made his way to his home. After reaching his home he sprawled on his bed to get a nap but when he saw the time all his plans of sleeping went down the drain, he was already running late, so he decided to get bath and head towards his work.Throughout his shower he was continually thinking about Riddhima and a smile was adoring his face. He decided to wear white shirt with blue denims as Riddhima's favorite color is white and she has complimented him quite a few times when he wears white. That smile was not leaving his face throughout. Finally after getting ready and having breakfast he left for Sanjeevani hoping to get noticed by Riddhima.
SANJEEVANI
Riddhima was checking the lab reports of her patients on whom she was going to operate with Dr.Shubhankar for any possible threat to her patient's life on operating table. The operation was quite critical as her patient's mitral valve of heart was stenosed and needed a urgent operation and hence she was not leaving any stone unturned for a successful surgery. She was completely engrossed in her file when her cell vibrated. She checked the caller, it was from Vardhan hospital, she was not in a mood to answer the call but very reluctantly she accepted it. Her face suddenly fall and tensed lines were formed on her forehead after she disconnected the call. Armaan entered and find Riddhima sitting worried. "Basket is everything okay? You look quite tensed." Riddhima snaped out of her thoughts when she heard Armaan's voice " Oh Hi Armaan, wow white shirt hmmm... nice bade killer lag rahe ho, n don't worry it's just that I am worried about my patient that's it" Riddhima lied. Armaan didnt paid any attention to the compliment that he got from his Basket. He was not convinced, he was rather more worried about her as tension was clearly visible on her face so to lighten the fact he said "Basket you are a wonderful doctor you will excel in surgery don't worry." Armaan assured her. Riddhima gave a dry smile to him as she was not tensed about the surgery but rather due to call from her previous hospital. Armaan felt some uneasiness with Riddhima "Basket you sure its surgery only and nothing else?" Riddhima looked towards him and saw concern for her in his eyes, she smiled and again lied "of course Armaan, what else could it be. Don't worry I will manage everything." Saying this she left from there for OT leaving behind an unsatisfied Armaan.
After three hours of tiring and succesful surgery she came out of OT and was heading towards nurse station to check her duty when suddenly she halted hearing a name 'Sid' from Sapa's mouth. She hid behind the wall and eavesdrop the conversation. Sapna was talking with Sid, she was yelling at him "Damn Sid you can't convince Riddhima for a second chance. Lonavla was the perfect chance for you but you just tch, forget it. That Riddhima is making my life a hell. Can't you keep her away from Armaan. You are useless Siddhant, just useless. And now you are giving me excuses that Ridzy don't want you in your life and you will no longer push her for giving you a second chance. C'mmon Sid how can you let her go that easily" Riddhima can't belive her ears what she was hearing. She was not able to tolerate more, her eyes welled up with tears and she ran from there crying. Armaan who was coming from opposite side saw Riddhima running towards fire escape while crying, he was not able to understand what happened. He immediately page Anjali and ran behind Riddhima. He opened the door of fire escape to find Riddhima crying like never before. Her head was on her knees and she was crying bitterly. Armaan went upto her and patted her head. Riddhima raised her head to see and when she saw Armaan, she immediately took him into a tight embrace and started crying. She hide her face in the crook of his neck. Armaan brushed her hair in assurance and responded her hug by hugging her tight. " shh, Basket what's the matter. Why are you crying like this?" Riddhima who had lost her composure spoke while crying " Armaan why does she hate me? How? How can she do this to me? What have I done that she hates me like this?" Armaan who was not able to understand separated her and brought her out from his embrace, he cupped her face with his hands and asked " Riddhima about whom are you talking? Who hates you?" Riddhima who was still crying madly uttered "Sapna". Suddenly a rush of anger was felt by Armaan "kya kiya usne Ridhima?" Meanwhile Anjali too entered fire escape and saw Riddhima crying but she stopped behind her when she saw Armaan already talking to her sister. So she just sit beside Riddhima without disturbing her and making any noise. Riddhima narrated everything that she heard and again burst into fits of crying. Armaan tightened his fist and his eyes became red due to anguish. Armaan looked towards Anjali and pointed her out to take care of Riddhima and he himself left from there. Anjali took Riddhima in her embrace who was sobbing.
Anger was boiling in Armaan while he headed towards nurse station. He asked nurse about Dr.Sapna's and found her duty in OPD. He made his way towars OPD. Reaching there he found her interacting with a patient. He waited outside for patient to leave. When patient left he entered inside. Sapna was perplexed finding him and then next moment she noticed his eyes that were burning with rage of anger. "Who do you think you are Dr. Sapna Malhotra?" Armaan asked furiously. Sapna who was not understanding anything looked bewildered and asked " Armaan what are you talking about?"
"Of course how could you know? " Armaan taunted "Why are you not leaving Riddhima alone? What is your problem? Why can't you let her live. She is trying to move on in her life." Sapna who still didnt understand spoke " Armaan what crap are you saying? What have I done?" Armaan who has lost his cool banged her desk with his hand in fury. Sapna got frightened with his rage. Armaan tightened his fist and decreased the space between her and himself and looked straight in her eyes and said " Sapna don't try and act innocent. You know what I am talking. Didn't you tell Sid about Riddhima's whereabouts in Lonavala. You are such a filthy human being Sapna. How can you even think of spoiling Riddhima's life" Sapna gulped in fear and manage to say " Armaan she is trying to woo you. She is coming between you and me. She is stealing you from me." Armaan laughed in a taunting manner and said "Sapna do you really think so? Riddhima is not cheap like you. And as a matter of fact she is not coming between you and me, beacuse there is nothing left between us forget about stealing. And get one thing very clear if you dare to harm Riddhima, you will wish you were never born girl. Never. And trust me I mean it." Sapna still inspite of Armaan's warning manage to say " why are you concerned about that good for nothing girl?" Armaan held Sapna from her shoulders very rashly and with anger boiling in his eyes he looked straight in her eyes and said " because Dr. Malhotra I love her. Do you get that? I love Riddhima. And if you dare do anything with her, I swear main tumhein maar dalunga". He loosened his grip and once again warned " this is last time I am warning you. Ab agar tumhaari wajah se Basket ki ankhon main ek bhi ansun aya, toh mujhse bura koi nahi hoga. Koi nahi." And he left her pondering.
Armaan went back to fire escape and found it empty. Then he checked cafeteria and found Atul cursing Sapna alongwith Muskaan and Rahul. Riddhima was sitting all numb without saying any word and the plate with food was kept in front of her untouched. Immediately Armaan understood that Riddhima is not eating anything as Anjali was pushing her to eat. So Armaan went upto her and said "Basket bechare khaane ka kya dosh hai, han main manta hun ki cafe ka khaana Naani ke haath ke khane jitna tasty nahi hai but still kha lo aur tum us Sapna ki tension mat lo maine use accha sabak sikha diya hai." Riddhima diverted her gaze towards Armaan " Armaan tumne Sapna ko zyada kuch toh nahi keh diya na" Armaan huffed and said "Basket she deserves what she got and look at yourself, she is trying to manipulate your life and you are showing pity on her. Trust me from now onwards she wont dare to do anything against you. Please now just eat." Riddhima shook her head in no and said " Armaan mera man nahi hai, please." Now please go ahead and eat" replied Riddhima. When they were done eating their pagers beeped. "Oye hitler ne bulaya hai, chalo." said Muskaan.
They all get gathered on nurse station and found Sapna coming with Dr. Keerti. Atul got tensed and said " Armaan do you think she told Dr. Keerti about your threats?" Armaan rolled his eyes and said "champ is she school going girl who will complain to senior authorities if anyone will bully her" Atul giggled on his response.
Dr. Keerti approached nurse station in full rage and anger and blasted out " I have never expected such irresponsible behavior from you guys. You were one of the best interns batch that is why we thought of keeping you all here as resident doctors but such type of irresponsibility was never expected. I thought you guys are quite responsible but you all thoroughly dissapointed me." All were exchanging looks as none was understanding what exactly Dr. Keerti was trying to convey. "But Dr. Keerti we are not getting what you meant to say. Kindly please elabroate" Rahul finally managed to ask. Dr. Keerti got more irritated " oh really Dr. Aggarwal, please don't tell me that one of your friend is leaving Sanjeevani and you don't you." All get more confused. So again Rahul spoke on their behalf "Dr. Keerti who is leaving?" Keerti got to know that they actually don't know anything so she said " actually doctors Dr. Sapna has decided to leave Sanjeevani she has given her resignation letter." "What?" All said in chorus. "Yes, and I am highly dissapointed with Dr. Sapna. When I ask her to stay for one month for her interim period, she didnt agree. She has not even given her one month notice before leaving. Dr. Sapna can I ask you how we will manage a doctor at your place? And have you ever thought about your patients? Suddenly what happen that you have decided to quit?" Sapna who was standing with her head down looking towards floor, finally looked up, her eyes were red probably she has cried a lot spoke " Dr. Keerti it's all personal I don't want to discuss it now" "Fine, if you have decided then what else I can say" said Keerti and left. Once Keerti left Riddhima moved towards Sapna and said " Sapna I know Armaan spoke quite rudely with you but that does not mean that you will leave Sanjeevani. I mean I know you don't like me much and whatever you did with me was not right too. But that does not mean you will destroy your carrier by leaving Sanjeevani. Sapna kept on listening what Riddhimawas saying. When she stopped Sapna said " Ridzy I am sorry. I didn't mean to do such things to you which I did but I guess my love or should I say my obsession for Armaan made me do that. But Armaan he didn't love me rather he loves someone else. "Rahul, Muskaan, Atul and Anjali you guys were really true friends and please apni shaadi main bulana bhulna mat. Aur Armaan I do love you and I hope Riddhima tumhaare pyaar ko jaldi samajh jaye. Woh bahut lucky hai jo tum us se itna pyaar karte ho. I will miss you. Par jab yeh pata chale ki apka pyaar apse nahi kisi aur se pyaar karta hai tab wahan rukna bahut mushkil hai." "Yaar hero tune us bechaari se aisa kya kaha ki wo aj ke aj hi hospital chod ke bhaag gayi" Muskaan said and burst out laughing. Anjali reprimanded her but Atul spoke " but its good she left, at least now there won't be any hinderance between Armaan' s and Riddhima' s love story and he too burst out laughing and hi fived with Muskaan. Anjali huffed and left from there saying " you guys are too much" Armaan was smiling on Atul' s comment "Champ I guess I should tell her that I love her or at least do something to make her feel special. Haina?" Atul nodded in a yes.
Riddhima after attending emergency was sitting in the locker room when reat of her friends joined her. She was so lost in her that she didnt even noticed that Muskaan is talking to her. When Muskaan didn't got any answer from her, she nudged her. Riddhima's chain of thoughts broke and she asked "Muski why are you pushing me?" Muskaan who was irritated by her lost behavior said "Ridzy from the last 15 mintues I am blabbering and you are saying why I am pushing you? Where the hell are you lost." Armaan who was also tensed watching her list too intrigued "yes Basket you are behaving lost. And look don't give me lame excuses that it is work tension and all.Please tell us why are you behaving so weird. And if it is related to Sapna then please don't get tensed coz it's just over. And if something else is bothered you please tell us. At least please tell Anjali." Armaan pleaded

My interns want to give me a farewell party" But before she can complete Atul interrupted " so, what is the deal Ridz? They were your interns. Obviously they would love to give you a farewell party. It's Sid" Hearing Sid's name Armaan got attentive, he was now fully concentrating at what Riddhima was saying. She continued " Actually my patient Mr.Singh wants to pursue his treatment from me. So Sid wants me to help him in treatment." "So you mean you will go to Vardhan hospital? You think we will allow you to go? No Dr. Gupta I will not allow you to take such step. " Armaan interrupted her before she can complete "Armaan I am not going to Vardhan, I have already told Sid that I won't come, but then he requested me to consider about Mr.Singh. So I asked him to shift Mr.Singh here in Sanjeevani but the problem is Sid will also come and I will have to work with him as Dr.Banerjee who is operating Mr. Singh wants both of us to handle the case with him. So I don't have any choice you see. Either I will have to go to Vardhan which I am not willing or either Sid will come here and Mr.Singh will be shifted in Sanjeevani and when it will be right to operate him then Dr. Banerjee will operate him. Dr.Banerjee has already requested Papa and he has agreed." Armaan got irritated " if you have already planned everything then there is nothing left for me to say. Do whatever you want to do. " Armaan yeh kya nautanki hai" Riddhima reprimanded. "Nautanki samjho ya jo samjho bus maine jo kehna tha so keh diya" replied Armaan. "Fine, I quit; M eating. Now please go ahead and eat" replied Riddhima. When they were done eating their pagers beeped. "Oye hitler ne bulaya hai, chalo." said Muskaan.
They all get gathered on nurse station and found Sapna coming with Dr. Keerti. Atul got tensed and said " Armaan do you think she told Dr. Keerti about your threats?" Armaan rolled his eyes and said "champ is she school going girl who will complain to senior authorities if anyone will bully her" Atul giggled on his response.
Dr. Keerti approached nurse station in full rage and anger and blasted out " I have never expected such irresponsible behavior from you guys. You were one of the best interns batch that is why we thought of keeping you all here as resident doctors but such type of irresponsibility was never expected. I thought you guys are quite responsible but you all thoroughly dissapointed me." All were exchanging looks as none was understanding what exactly Dr. Keerti was trying to convey. "But Dr. Keerti we are not getting what you meant to say. Kindly please elabroate" Rahul finally managed to ask. Dr. Keerti got more irritated " oh really Dr. Aggarwal, please don't tell me that one of your friend is leaving Sanjeevani and you don't you." All get more confused. So again Rahul spoke on their behalf "Dr. Keerti who is leaving?" Keerti got to know that they actually don't know anything so she said " actually doctors Dr. Sapna has decided to leave Sanjeevani she has given her resignation letter." "What?" All said in chorus. "Yes, and I am highly dissapointed with Dr. Sapna. When I ask her to stay for one month for her interim period, she didnt agree. She has not even given her one month notice before leaving. Dr. Sapna can I ask you how we will manage a doctor at your place? And have you ever thought about your patients? Suddenly what happen that you have decided to quit?" Sapna who was standing with her head down looking towards floor, finally looked up, her eyes were red probably she has cried a lot spoke " Dr. Keerti it's all personal I don't want to discuss it now" "Fine, if you have decided then what else I can say" said Keerti and left. Once Keerti left Riddhima moved towards Sapna and said " Sapna I know Armaan spoke quite rudely with you but that does not mean that you will leave Sanjeevani. I mean I know you don't like me much and whatever you did with me was not right too. But that does not mean you will destroy your carrier by leaving Sanjeevani. Sapna kept on listening what Riddhimawas saying. When she stopped Sapna said " Ridzy I am sorry. I didn't mean to do such things to you which I did but I guess my love or should I say my obsession for Armaan made me do that. But Armaan he didn't love me rather he loves someone else. Riddhima got confused " Armaan loves someone else! Sapna you are mistaken, he don't love anyone. I know he was rude but he said all that because of me." Sapna smiled and said " tum jaldi samajh jaogi Riddhima" before Riddhima could ask further her pager beeped " Sapna its ICU emeregency but still think about it." Saying this she left. "Rahul, Muskaan, Atul and Anjali you guys were really true friends and please apni shaadi main bulana bhulna mat. Aur Armaan I do love you and I hope Riddhima tumhaare pyaar ko jaldi samajh jaye. Woh bahut lucky hai jo tum us se itna pyaar karte ho. I will miss you. Par jab yeh pata chale ki apka pyaar apse nahi kisi aur se pyaar karta hai tab wahan rukna bahut mushkil hai." She moved towards Armaan and placed a little peck on his cheeks. " Please forgive me Armaan. I cant bear your hatred. Please. So okay guys its time for me to leave. Say bye to Riddhima and give her my best wishes." Saying this she left. "Yaar hero tune us bechaari se aisa kya kaha ki wo aj ke aj hi hospital chod ke bhaag gayi" Muskaan said and burst out laughing. Anjali reprimanded her but Atul spoke " but its good she left, at least now there won't be any hinderance between Armaan' s and Riddhima' s love story and he too burst out laughing and hi fived with Muskaan. Anjali huffed and left from there saying " you guys are too much" Armaan was smiling on Atul' s comment "Champ I guess I should tell her that I love her or at least do something to make her feel special. Haina?" Atul nodded in a yes.
Riddhima after attending emergency was sitting in the locker room when reat of her friends joined her. She was so lost in her that she didnt even noticed that Muskaan is talking to her. When Muskaan didn't got any answer from her, she nudged her. Riddhima's chain of thoughts broke and she asked "Muski why are you pushing me?" Muskaan who was irritated by her lost behavior said "Ridzy from the last 15 mintues I am blabbering and you are saying why I am pushing you? Where the hell are you lost." Armaan who was also tensed watching her list too intrigued "yes Basket you are behaving lost. And look don't give me lame excuses that it is work tension and all.Please tell us why are you behaving so weird. And if it is related to Sapna then please don't get tensed coz it's just over. And if something else is bothered you please tell us. At least please tell Anjali." Armaan pleaded
Riddhima took a deep breath and finally spoke. " Armaan I got a call from Vardhan hospital this morning. My interns want to give me a farewell party" But before she can complete Atul interrupted " so, what is the deal Ridz? They were your interns. Obviously they would love to give you a farewell party. If you don't want to go we will accompany you. What is there to get tensed about?" Muskaan nodded in a yes and assurance. Rahul nudged Atul to keep quite and let Riddhima complete what she wants to convey. Riddhima continued speaking " Atul, let me complete na yaar. Actually its not farewell party that is bothering me. It's Sid" Hearing Sid's name Armaan got attentive, he was now fully concentrating at what Riddhima was saying. She continued " Actually my patient Mr.Singh wants to pursue his treatment from me. So Sid wants me to help him in treatment." "So you mean you will go to Vardhan hospital? You think we will allow you to go? No Dr. Gupta I will not allow you to take such step. " Armaan interrupted her before she can complete "Armaan I am not going to Vardhan, I have already told Sid that I won't come, but then he requested me to consider about Mr.Singh. So I asked him to shift Mr.Singh here in Sanjeevani but the problem is Sid will also come and I will have to work with him as Dr.Banerjee who is operating Mr. Singh wants both of us to handle the case with him. So I don't have any choice you see. Either I will have to go to Vardhan which I am not willing or either Sid will come here and Mr.Singh will be shifted in Sanjeevani and when it will be right to operate him then Dr. Banerjee will operate him. Dr.Banerjee has already requested Papa and he has agreed." Armaan got irritated " if you have already planned everything then there is nothing left for me to say. Do whatever you want to do. Lekin agar Sid ne apni had paar ki toh mujhse bura koi nayi hoga." Saying this he stormed out of locker room in fury. "Dekh Ridzy I dont think so it is right. Better avoid sid" deciphered Anjali. "But Di what can I do I am doing all this for my patient. Please understand na." Anjali sighed patted her back and left locker room dejected. Muskaan, Atul and Rahul too left Riddhima alone. No one was happy ith Riddima's decision. She sighed defeated and she too left for canteen hoping to find some peace there.
