Caress
It took me by surprise, in the middle of the night, the caress on my cheek.
I opened my eyes, but I didn't move, enjoying the warm feeling that I had missed so much.
"I'm sorry." Kabir whispered, continuing to caress my face, while I felt the tears pressing to come out.
That roughness, that weight… god, it was only a week that I hadn't felt his hands on my body and yet I missed them like it had been months.
I let his fingertips accustomed to handling wrenches and screwdrivers travel the soft curves of my body, until they found my hand and squeeze it.
“I know you are awake. Sorry. I love you."
I smiled.
