"Akash, Arnav took Khushi away from me. sobbed NK

"Who? asked Akash and Arnav in chorus.

"Khushi. Said NK, "The one I am having crush on since first year.

"Khushi... repeated Akash trying to recollect the time when NK announced that he has found a girl who he likes. Though, NK finds a different girl every other day and falls in love, this girl has been a constant mention for past year.

"What rubbish, NK? I don't even know who Khushi is. Argued Arnav

"Don't lie, Arnav. She clearly told me that she loves you.

"Love!!! asked Arnav shocked. "Pagal hogaya hai, NK "

"There is some misunderstanding, NK. How will Arnav know your college friend?' asked Akash

"I don't know all that. Khushi told me that she loves Arnav Singh Raizada aka our Arnav. Said NK

"Don't be a kid, NK. Everyone is waiting for you downstairs. We will talk once the party is over. suggested Arnav.

"No, I will not come to party. I am very sad. Cribbed NK

"NK, don't make me angry. Chided Arnav making NK pout.

"Ek minute. Said Akash taking NK's phone. "Ask your friend to bring Khushi here. We will solve this confusion at once.

Five minutes passed before Khushi entered NK's room along with Prathik. Her expression mixed with confusion and anger soon turned to dreamy on seeing Arnav. With a goofy grin, Khushi walked up to Arnav.

"Hey, I am Khushi Kumari Gupta. She introduced herself extending her hand.

NK pouted at her interest.She never smiles at me. He said. Arnav and Akash looked at her bemused. Arnav kept looking at Khushi with a frown and didn't shake her hand, but Khushi stood there without deterring smile. When Arnav realized she won't move without shaking his hand, he cautiously shook hands with her.

Khushi stood beside Arnav looking at him coyly creeping the hell out of Arnav.

"Akash... called Arnav asking his brother to do something about the situation.

"Haan, right. Said Akash bracing himself. "Khushi, right? he asked and Khushi nodded affirmatively. "What are we hearing from NK, Khushi? He says that you lov...err I mean like Arnav. It is not possible, I know. Why don't you just clear NK's misunderstanding?

"Not like, I am in love with Arnav. She said grinning at Arnav.

"Akash... said Arnav a bit scandalized as he ran to stand beside his brother leaving Khushi. "NK ke tarah uski dost bhi pagal hai. Complained Arnav

"Deka, Akash... Arnav stole Khushi from me. Cribbed NK.

"NK... called Khushi as she walked to stand in front of him. "I know I hurt you, NK. But, you have to forgive and forget me. We should maintain a cordial relationship now, specially as I am going to be your bhabhi soon. "

"Bhabhi!!!! shouted shocked Akash and Arnav looking at each other.

"Bhabhi??? asked a distressed NK.

"Bhabhi? Kaun bhabhi? all eyes turned to the source of the voice to find Daadi

Akash and Arnav looked at each other and gulped their saliva nervously.

"Kaun bhabhi? Koi nahi. Said Akash acting casually

"Koi bhi nahi. Added Arnav. The last thing Arnav wants is to involve his Daadi, as that will only increase his trouble.

 "NK, neeche kyun nahi aaya? Everyone is waiting for you. She chided. "Don't tell me you brothers are having secret party here. Are you guys drinking?

"No, Daadi, not at all. Said Akash

Daadi was about to walk out asking the three to come down faster, when she noticed Khushi. Seeing a new girl midst the boys certainly piqued her interest.

"Who are you, puttar? she asked

Khushi smiled wide at being acknowledged and immediately touched Daadi's feet for blessing.

"Bless you, puttar. But who are you? asked Daadi

"Ji, I am Khushi Kumari Gupta. I am from NK's college. She said

"NK's college? Daadi worked her mind to find where she has heard this name. "Are you the one who likes NK? asked Daadi remembering NK mentioning about her.

"No, daadi. I am the one who likes Arnav. Said Khushi with unfaltering smile.

"Arnav??? asked a surprised Daadi.

Daadi has never before heard Arnav and a girl's name in same sentence. He is her sharif pota who never gets into any girl business. The last time he had a proper girlfriend was three years ago and that only lasted for five months. Arnav was more dedicated to his work than anything else in his life.

"What is this Arnav? asked Daadi looking at Arnav

"Daadi, woh... Arnav mentally cursed the pagal ladki for putting him in spot. "Akash... he called to his brother. Why don't you tell, daadi?

"What do I tell daadi? asked Akash confused.

"Tell her that it is mazaq. Arnav said looking at Akash pointedly.

"Yes, Oh ! daadi it was a joke. Agreed Akash with an awkward chuckle.

Though, daadi wasn't convinced, she didn't pry much. "Come down fast. She mumbled before walking out.

Silence maintained in the room which was broke by Akash's strong voice.

"Now, our first preference is party. We have lots of guests and media here, so NK I want you to behave normally instead of sulking and enjoy the party, okay? We will all talk about it later after the party. Said Akash

Everyone agreed and walked out of the room one by one. Akash pulled Arnav back and said, "Look, Arnav. Why don't you talk with Khushi?'

"Me? Why? panicked Arnav.

"Maybe she is just doing this to dissuade NK from perusing her. Talk to her and get a perspective only then we can arrive at conclusion said Akash and Arnav agreed

Arnav managed to find Khushi alone and decided to talk to her.

"Listen, I don't know why you are doing this, but you have to stop it.' Said Arnav

"I know, you would say this. Said Khushi. "You may not love me yet, but I will wait.

"What rubbish? We saw each other only today and you claim to love me? That is ridiculous. "

"Sometimes all you need is a second to fall in love. Said Khushi

"Don't use these filmy dialogues on me, Okay? Tell me the reason at once why are you doing this?

"I swear I am in love with you.

Arnav closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"Okay. Even if that is true, I cannot love you.

"Why?

"Because I don't feel the way about you.

"Yet added Khushi. "Maybe you will like me once you get to know me.

"That is a big maybe said Arnav

"I am very optimistic, Mr.Arnav.

"NK is already hurt because of you and that itself gives me biggest reason to not love you. Said Arnav

"You know your brother better than me. He is not actually in love with me. Said Khushi

"It doesn't matter. You made him sad and I can never forgive you for that.

"Will you consider me if I make him happy? asked Khushi

"What?

"If I make NK happy and he himself is ready to see us together then will you consider dating me? Will you be my boyfriend?

"I am not up for any of your crazy schemes.

"Please, you have to give me one chance. Don't break my heart. She pleaded genuinely

"Fine, if NK is happy and he himself says that I can have... you know... I can see you, then I will think about it.

Khushi jumped clapping her hands gleefully.

"Perfect. Arnav Singh Raizada, be ready to be swept off your feet. Declared Khushi.
