Is the sound of raindrops

Leaking through the patched roof,

And running to put the bucket

Under.

Love is dew bouncing off

Leaves and laughing at

Thunder, and the creek dancing

Under their feet.

Love is the darkness of the forest

Smiling, shielding.

Love is fourteen suns, and four moons,

And an ocean in between.
