CHAPTER 6

                    Kria was discharged a week after her surgery with a long list of Do's and Don'ts and strict bed rest for minimum 2 months after surgery. She spent the first month post surgery in depression and the whole gang tried to cheer her up. But there was only so much they could do. Kria's accident had shaken them to the core. It was as if they realized for the first time the damages their dancing could cause. And Rey was at complete loss.kisi samjhaaye? Gang ko ya Kria ko?

                    At first it started out really subtly, but gradually the gang started drifting apart. Just like a drop of water creates a disturbance that carries the ripples farther away from each other. Neha decided to pursue a career in bhojpuri films after the success in her first one.  Simi also decided to focus on DJing. Amar kept making excuses that he needed to study and stopped turning up for Rehearsals. Bharat began staying back at the garage and met the gang only when necessary.

                    Vicky and Nil stuck around for some while longer. But eventually Vicky caved in deciding to quit both sports and dancing. Both Nil and him agreed to focus on getting an MBA. Rinni was still undecided but she never outright declared that she would continue to dance which was as good as a no.

                                        Left behind were Rey, Swayam and Aashi.

Present

                    Sharon sat in front of her large dressing table as she clipped her earrings in place. She was in the process of applying eyeliner when she realized she was jittery. Strange, she thought. that has never happened before. Sab kuch toh thik chal raha hai. Swayam se jhagda bhi nahin hua... The moment she finished that thought, her hand slipped and her eyeliner spread across her temple. Damn it!! Swayam ke baare mein sochne par bhi gadbad ho jaati hai. Aur kitne signs chahiye, that this was never going to work. But deep inside, even she knew she was lying to herself. She could feel it in her bones. Something was going to happen today.
