The episode commences with Manish accidentally burning the vegetables. Kairav and Suwarna enter the scene, and Manish and Muskaan pretend nothing happened. Kairav notices Muskaan's absence from the office and questions her. Muskaan explains that she is still on her day off. Kairav then asks Manish to join him for a meeting, and they all leave the kitchen. Unaware of the situation, Akshu forgets to turn off the stove and realizes she forgot to add an ingredient. In her hurry, she injures herself but continues thinking about Abhir. Meanwhile, Ruhi apologizes for covering the books, citing their overwhelming number, and Abhir suggests they handle it themselves since their father isn't present.
Ignoring their personal conflicts, they prioritize the task at hand. Akshu finds a pair of Abhir's old shoes in a suitcase and decides to take them before he leaves for school. Surekha notices Muskaan talking on the phone, while no one notices the stove still on. Akshu mentions the heavy rain, which causes the stove's fire to extinguish. Dadi sneezes due to a cold and decides to make ginger and Tulsi tea, leading her to enter the kitchen.
Manjiri prays for Abhimanyu to drop the kids off at school. Dadi realizes the gas stove is already on and questions herself about when she turned it on, realizing her sneezing has clouded her thinking. Suwarna and Surekha come downstairs and detect the smell of gas. They discover Dadi attempting to ignite the gas with a lighter and rush to stop her. They insist that Dadi leave the kitchen immediately as it is filled with gas.
Observing the children, Manjiri smiles. Abhir expresses his sadness about Akshu while Manjiri appreciates how well he packed their bags. Ruhi praises Abhir, calling him the best brother who packs her bag every day. Manjiri advises them to get ready for school and suggests that Abhir seek blessings from Lord Krishna. Ruhi promises to pray for Abhir as well. While inspecting Abhir's bag, Manjiri notices its weight and discovers the book label stating "Abhir Abhinav Sharma." Angrily, she removes the labels.
Shefali intervenes, preventing her from taking further action, and Mahima expresses her opinion, arguing that Manjiri's actions only cause pain to Abhir and herself. Mahima points out that Abhir is fulfilling Manjiri's wishes, leaving her alone. Shefali attempts to defuse the situation, but Mahima insists on discussing the consequences if Abhir were to be shattered. Unable to bear the tension, Manjiri asserts that it's time they reveal the truth to Abhir, including his real father's name, which is Abhimanyu Birla, not Abhinav Sharma. Akshu enters and witnesses the scene. She picks up the book and checks the label, and Aarohi arrives, surprising everyone.
Akshu addresses Manjiri, questioning her motives, leading to a heated argument. Akshu accuses Manjiri of harboring hatred and emphasizes that Abhir is aware of it. She questions Manjiri's decision to keep Abhir divided between two households and insists that Abhinav is his father, deserving a place in Abhir's life. Surekha scolds Muskaan, causing her to cry, while Suwarna attempts to calm Surekha down. Surekha blames Muskaan for being careless while Abhinav lives with them, highlighting the need for him to know about his sister's negligence. Suwarna counters that they cannot be certain Muskaan is to blame. Surekha insists she saw Muskaan in the kitchen and asks her to admit it. Muskaan confesses but denies blaming Akshu since she isn't present. Surekha tells Muskaan to be silent.
Manjiri refuses to engage in conversation, but Akshu insists that they must address the situation as it could shatter Abhir's confidence. She reminds them that Abhir is her son and that the court entrusted him to Manjiri because they believed she could provide a happier and loving family environment. Shefali attempts to calm the situation, considering the presence of the children, but Manjiri continues the argument, causing them all to cry. Akshu argues that they informed everyone and went to Kasauli as per Abhir's request. She emphasizes that they have not taken anything away from Manjiri's son and that as parents, they didn't need to assert their rights. Manjiri questions Akshu's regular visits when the court ordered her to see Abhir only on weekends. Akshu asserts that Manjiri has no valid points left and is merely referring to the court's decision.
