YRKKH: Akshara left shocked on learning of Abhir’s detention; Shefali suspects a trigger

The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tonight begins with Shefali and Nishta discussing Shivu and Abhir. Shefali speculates that Abhir's behavior might be triggered by something from her past. Nishta mentions that Mahima and Manjiri also had an argument, and Abhi said he would talk to Abhir. Shefali expresses concern that Abhir has been distant lately. Nishta leaves, and Shefali decides to talk to Akshu.

She calls Akshu but accidentally disconnects the call when Manjiri pleads with her not to reveal something. Akshu calls back, and Manjiri advises her not to tell Akshu about the situation, as Abhir needs time to adjust. Shefali apologizes to Akshu, saying it was a mistake. Akshu asks if everything is okay, and Shefali reassures her, saying that Abhir is sleeping and she will ask him to talk to Akshu later. Akshu receives a mail and drops her phone in excitement. Abhinav asks what happened, and Akshu shares that she got an internship. Everyone congratulates her, and she thanks them.

Abhi observes Abhir and reflects on their conversation. He asks Abhir why he is not happy with him. Aarohi intervenes, reminding Abhi that Abhir belongs to Akshu and Abhinav and is not happy living there. Abhi dismisses her words and insists that she is not helping the situation. Akshu gets ready, and the family congratulates her again. Dadi does her aarti and asks her to seek Kanha's blessings, but Akshu refuses until she gets her son back. Abhinav gives her a bag and encourages her to work hard. Akshu feels fortunate to have him by her side. Abhinav mentions that he called Abhi, and Abhir will call them after school. He hands her a tiffin and wishes her luck. The principal calls Akshu and informs her about a complaint regarding Abhir. Akshu rushes to the school, and Abhinav follows.

The principal shows them a copy of Abhir's text, indicating a change in his behavior and an attitude problem. Akshu finds it hard to believe, defending her son's character. The principal explains that Abhi, being the signed guardian, was informed, but he didn't take any action, so they reached out to Akshu. Abhinav assures the principal that they will handle the situation and promises to talk to Abhir, mentioning he is a sensible boy. The principal warns that Abhir might lose his seat if the behavior continues. Akshu asks Abhinav to go home while she handles the matter. He prays for her safety. Meanwhile, Akshu confronts Manjiri, asking where her son is. Manjiri informs her that he is out with Aarohi. Akshu questions why Abhir isn't at school. She meets Shivansh, who tells her that Abhir has hurt him. Abhi arrives and sends Shivu away with Nishta.
