Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhimanyu blamed for Manjiri's ordeal, Akshara looks on

The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tonight begins with Kairav receiving a call from Pallavi. He agrees, saying, "Sure, I'll be there. We need to check on that work." Manish inquires about the situation, and Kairav explains that the new manager, Pallavi, is struggling to handle the workload, so he has to go. Manish nods in understanding. Meanwhile, Muskaan expresses her objections, but Kairav leaves anyway, leaving Muskaan suspicious.

In another scene, everyone gathers, drapes their dupattas stylishly, and exclaims "Jai Kanhaiya" with enthusiasm. Abhi notices Akshu and worries that she might be upset with him, thinking she would be doubly thrilled if he loses. Suddenly, the light bulbs flicker, catching Manish's attention. Manjiri grimaces in pain, and Akshu nearly slips. Abhi cries out, "Akshara!" Abhir urgently requests to use the restroom, and Ruhi encourages him to hurry. He plays a flute briefly before leaving.

Suwarna suggests that Manjiri's shoulder must be hurting and advises her to get some spray from the first aid kit. Manjiri complies and Akshu resolves not to look down. Abhi watches her intently. They both successfully retrieve the coconut, with everyone applauding their efforts. Abhi, however, is left with an uneasy feeling.

Suddenly, the meter box explodes, causing a fire to spread. Akshu makes a playful remark to Abhi, and Anand points out that Akshu was about to fall. Abhi suggests they've won, and Akshu playfully says that if they had lost, they would have been labeled as rude boys by the girls, who now call them losers.

Abhi notices the lights have gone out, and Manish explains that it's due to a power fluctuation. Manjiri applies the spray for her shoulder pain, and Akshu asks about Abhir's whereabouts. Ruhi mentions he went to the restroom. Abhi becomes concerned, noticing the rising temperature and smoke. Abhir suddenly shouts for help, causing Manjiri to collapse in shock.

Kairav returns from his office work, and Muskaan declares that the Janmashtami celebration is over. Manish suggests they go and check on Abhi and Akshu. Kairav explains that Muskaan has issues with his office work, and she accuses him of spending too much time there.

Meanwhile, Abhi and Akshu realize that Abhir is still inside the washroom. Abhi tries to open the door but finds it locked. Akshu assures Abhir they are there for him. Abhir communicates through playing the flute. Abhi instructs him to wet a stole and tie it around his face for protection. Akshu encourages him, and they eventually manage to open the door, saving Abhir.

Abhir plays the flute to indicate his well-being. Abhi breaks down the door, and Akshu rushes to hug her son. They reassure him and make a plan to find Dida, with Akshu staying with Abhir while Abhi searches for Dida.

Precap: Akshu finds Manjiri and rushes to her side. Mahima insists they need to take her to the hospital, and a woman expresses gratitude to Abhi for saving her instead of his mother. This leads to accusations against Abhi, leaving Akshu concerned.
