We literally cried during the scene: Ankit Gupta on shooting Amrik’s death sequence in ‘Udaariyaan’

Colors’ show ‘Udaariyaan’ is getting quite interesting with each passing episode. The current track of the show revolves around Amrik passing away while Fateh requests Tanya to become Tejo and come to Moga. Tanya agrees for Amrik’s sake.

Amrik’s death sequence left the viewers in tears. Actors Ankit Gupta (Fateh), Isha Malviya (Jasmine) and Abhishek Kumar (Amrik) nailed the sequence and delivered relatable performances. India Forums got in touch with Ankit Gupta to know more about the scene, he said, “It was indeed an emotional moment for us. Honestly, I did not think that I will end up crying for real but when we rolled the cameras for that scene, tears came rolling down. Abhishek performed brilliantly in the sequence. While I gathered myself post the scene, Abhishek continued to weep”.

Ankit added, “Before the scene, Abhishek told me that I wouldn’t control my emotions in his death sequence but I brushed him off saying I’d be rather happy (laughs). I teased him a lot and he took it sportingly. But he was right, as I couldn’t contain myself from sobbing for real during the scene”.

Wishing well for Kumar, Ankit said, “Abhishek is wonderful actor and quite hardworking. We had a ball of a time on the sets of ‘Udaariyaan’ and I wish only the best for this talented boy. I hope he reaches new heights of success”.
