This Television actor REUNITES with Shahid Kapoor for his next!

While Samir Soni is a name to reckon with in the television industry, he has done quality work on the big screen as well. Samir has been a part of television shows like  Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, Parichay and lately Alt Balaji's Bewafaa Sii Wafaa and done films like China Gate, Lajja, Baghban, Vivah and I Hate Luv Storys among others.

Currently busy with Student Of The Year 2, Samir has now added yet another Bollywood flick to his kitty - Shahid Kapoor-Yami Gautam-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Gul Batti Meter Chalu, albeit in a cameo role.

Speaking to a daily about his character Samir revealed that he will be seen in the role of an industrialist. Samir also mentioned as to how he was excited to get back with Shahid, with whom he has shared screen-space in Vivah.

Gul Batti Meter Chaalu is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar. It stars Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in the lead roles.

The movie focuses on how a man ends up dead because of some electricity issues and subsequently, a case is filed against an industrialist (played by Soni) on whether he is to be blamed or not.
