'The Theatre of Illusions' by Rohit-Rahul at WIFW finale

New Delhi, Oct 2 (IANS) Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, will showcase 'The Theatre of Illusions' at the grand finale of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Spring-Summer 2012 Oct 12.

'The Theatre of Illusions' deploys materials full of translucency and magic. There are sheer silk yarns, voiles, mesh, organzas and tulles and in a twist, metals that bring home the idea of softness on skin and the union of the strength with the feminine,' the designer duo said in a statement.

One will see the monochromatic tones which will dominate the ensembles in black, grey, white, ink and coral. The clothes vary from free-flowy garments and dresses to long gowns and trousers.

'The silhouettes will float over and hug the body. The collection charms you with its elegance and sophistication,' they added.

Sharing about their association with the fashion extravaganza the designers said: 'The WIFW is a powerful platform and we hope to be able to create a collection that will delight the patrons of the label.'

'It is a significant engagement between both the brands and I am sure the audiences will be thrilled to view the show and access the creations on display,' they said.

The five-day WIFW begins at Pragati Maidan Oct 8.
