Popular and talented actor Rohitashv Gaur, who was recently seen in Sony Pal's Khushiyon Ki Gullakh Aashi which recently went off-air, is all set to make a comeback on screen with the upcoming channel &TV's new show Bhabhi Ji Ghar Pe Hain?

Rohitashv has been roped in to play the character of a very common man with which he can easily relate to. TellyBuzz spoke to him to know more about the show, character, experience of being a part of the very popular movie PK and much more.

Talking about the show and his character, Rohitashv says, "The story of the show is going to be pure comedy and it is based on a very different concept. The show is going to be a very different from others and I am not a part of a crowd here. The show has four main characters and I am a part of it and it's always an actor's wish to play pivotal roles. The show is a slice of life and it's taken from a contemporary progressive thought that never let your desires go in vain. Always set your heart free wherever it wants to go. I am playing the character of Manmohan Tiwari in the show who is a very traditional but a miser person. Being a traditional person, he aims high in life. He tries to find for love in different other characters.  I can very much relate to my character who is much like a middle class man."

We have mostly seen Rohitashv in comic roles. We wonder if the actor has a fear of getting typecast in these characters. When asked Rohitashv about this, he shared, "People find me fit in effortless comedy character that's why I mostly get these kinds of characters. I don't have fear of getting typecast because the roles are different. Just for an example, the character of Mukundilal in LapataGanj was of a common man but he is clever."

His previous show Khushiyon Ki Gullakh Aashi ended abruptly. So, does he have any regrets? Rohitashv answers, "Yes I have regrets for that show because it really feels bad to see a show shutting down in 3 months that should have run for long. It started off well but I wonder want went wrong with the script of the show that it couldn't do well."

It's again a new channel with new challenges and hopes. Rohitashv feels, "Zee has its own powerful network with a great team. &TV is coming up with good set of programs especially I feel that Shah Rukh Khan's reality show will surely do well on television because it has a new thought where a person will be asked very normal questions that we don't notice in our day to day lives."

Every actor has a dream role and so does Rohitashv. Talking about his dream roles with us, Rohitashv added, "Now I want to work for better roles. It has been a great experience working with PK. I want to work for films but I can't give much time to films while I am busy with television shows. Rajkumar Hirani knows giving importance to each and every character and with a defined script. I would like to play the role played Utpal Datt in Shaukeens and Paresh Rawal's role in Hera Pheri. If I will have to play a serious role then I would like to play the role played by Irrfan Khan in Life of Pi."

We wish Rohitashv all the best for his new show!
