Sony TV's 'Mere Dad Ki Dulhan' Ropes In Varun Badola As The Lead

Sony TV has only recently launched its newest show in the form of Tara from Satara that has opened to decent numbers too. And it seems the channel plans to continue the tradition of bringing in quirky and unconventional shows in the form of a new show called Mere Dad Ki Dulhan.

As the name suggests, the show will revolve around the storyline between a father and his daughter. As he would be a single father, the daughter will try to find a suitable companion for her dad.

And none other than actor Varun Badola has been roped in to play the titular character of the father. Playing the role of her daughter will be actress Anjali Tatrari, who is best known for her role in Zee5's upcoming psychological thriller, Bhram.

Coming to Varun, the actor is no stranger to the small screen where he is, in fact, one of the most celebrated names and has been a part of umpteen shows over the years.
