Colors’ show ‘Swaran Ghar’ has kept the fans hooked to the TV screens. The show recently witnessed the new entry of actor Hiten Tejwani. The show is getting quite interesting with each passing episode.
Actress Sangita Ghosh plays the lead role in the show that of Swaran Bedi who’s a doting mother and also a business woman. Post death of her husband, Swaran gathers herself and decides to be financially independent. Swaran’s son are quite against her while she stands strong against the world and her own world- her sons.
Sangita is a mother in real-life as well and has to stay away from her daughter as she shoots in Chandigrah. Talking about the same, Sangita said, “Our daughter has been a blessing and has changed our lives. Motherhood is brilliant but it comes with a lot of responsibilities and you need to own up to it. Its enriching. It is very difficult to stay away from her...but I make efforts, I go to Jaipur whenever I can manage or she comes to me and then there are video calls...also the issue is because I love her so much, even if she was around, leaving her for even 5 minutes gets painful. She is my life totally”.
Swaran’s character made me fall in love with it. At an age when people plan retirement, she begins to plan a life.

On being a part of ‘Swaran Ghar’, Sangita said, “The main reason why I took up ‘Swaran Ghar’ is because it is so relatable. I loved the simplicity of the story and character. I meet people who tell me something similar has happened to them at some given point. Life is unpredictable. Swaran’s character made me fall in love with it. At an age when people plan retirement, she begins to plan a life. Powerful to the core”.
