Sacred Games fame Jitendra Joshi Bags Shah Rukh Khan’s Betaal!

Actor Jitendra Joshi is popularly known as Katekar after his role in Netflix’ Indian original web series, Sacred Games. The actor who is also a theatre artist and a popular face in Marathi industry has worked alongside Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan and made a mark with his amazing performance in Sacred Games. 

Now, the actor is all set to share the screen with Lipstick Under My Burkha fame Ahana Kumra in Netflix’s upcoming venture.

According to reports, Jitendra Joshi has been roped by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment for their upcoming horror series Betaal. 

Betaal is a horror-thriller based on Zombies and set in the era of British Raj where an officer from the British company, will attack with his battalion of zombies.

Jitendra was also part of critically acclaimed drama Ventilator, produced by Priyanka Chopra. The actor expressed his joy on Twitter and shared the news. “I am super excited to be part of this one of a kind project #betaal on #netflix . To be associated with @iamsrk as an artist is a dream come true. My 2nd project with laale di jaan @iamnm  along with a super star cast and an amazing crew, “ he tweeted.

Apart from shows, Jitendra has worked in  movies including Singham Returns, The Attacks of 26/11 and Poster Boys among others.

We are extremely excited to watch him in Betaal.
