Ranbir Kapoor opens up on spending time with father Rishi Kapoor during his treatment

His son and actor Ranbir Kapoor has been promoting the film himself went on to open up about how the phase when Rishi Kapoor was being treated in New York and everyone was together for the longest time was the time when they really got together as a family.

He revealed that they spent so many months in New York walking from the apartment to the hospital. Every day, both of them would walk on the streets. For Ranbir, it was not just about talking; it was also the silent moments of Rishi going through his chemotherapy and sitting in the hospital with him. According to Ranbir, Rishi was always guilty of having Ranbir spend all of his time staying with him. The actor revealed that it really got them all together as a family.

Earlier, Ranbir had opened up about how they broke the news of his cancer to the late actor in Delhi on the sets of his film, Sharmaji Namkeen. The actor had revealed how Rishi was concerned about leaving the film in the middle and going to New York for his cancer treatment. In fact, Ranbir also said that Rishi kept asking about the film during the one year of his cancer treatment.

Kapoor has multiple films lined up in the form of Shamshera, Brahmastra, Luv Ranjan's untitled film and Animal ahead.
