Legendary singer-composer Bappi Lahiri has left a huge void in the film industry with his untimely demise. He passed away on Tuesday night due to Obstructive Sleep Apnea, as per doctors of a Mumbai hospital where he was admitted.
While his funeral will take place on Thursday, the mortal remains of the music gem have been recently brought to his Mumbai residence. His friends, family and well-wishers have begun arriving at his home to pay their last respects and celebs were seen arriving to extend condolences to the family.
Kajol and her mother Tanuja were snapped outside the late composer’s apartment. They were joined by Shaan, Rakesh Roshan, Alka Yagnik, Padmini Kolhapure and Shivangi Kolhapuri to mourn the loss.
On the other hand, fans of Bappi Lahiri are currently trending him on social media platforms and reminiscing about his evergreen songs. Celebrities from across the nation have also shared their anecdotes about the Disco King with rare pictures.
Earlier, the members of the Lahiri family had shared an official statement that read,
“It’s a deeply sad moment for us. The cremation will take place on arrival of Bappa From LA tomorrow mid morning ,We are seeking love and blessings for his soul . We will keep you updated .”
On the work front, Bappi Lahiri, dubbed as Disco King, has several hit songs under his credit. His last Bollywood song 'Bhankas' was a part of the soundtrack for Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor's 'Baaghi 3'.
