Radhika Madan opens up on Not Winning Filmfare Awards

Former television personality and a former dance instructor from New Delhi, Radhika Madan has successfully paved her way into the movies. She made her debut in 2018 with Vishal Bhardwaj's film Pataakha, which was well received by the critics. She also went on to impress the audience with her second film, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota alongside debutante debutant Abhimanyu Dassani.
Despite being only two films old, Radhika has managed to showcase her abilities to the fullest and also made an impactful impression in the minds of filmmakers and the audience.
With great reviews, critical acclaim and audiences love coming her way for her past work, Radhika also managed to make her place in the nominations of the Filmfare Awards, however, did not win any awards. She was nominated for 'Best Actress Critics' and 'Best Female Debut' for her debut film Pataakha, and also for 'Critics Award for Best Actor Female' for her second film, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota.
During the recent round of interviews, Radhika opened up on not winning the Filmfare Awards despite critical acclaim. "Mil jaaye tab theek hai, nahi mile tab theek hai. Mai iska stress leti nahi hu. Star screens mei mila hi tha, toh abh koi aur naa mile toh theek hi hai. Till the time my work is appreciated, I'm sorted" she said.
"For me nominations are also a big deal. I remember I was nominated in the 'Best Actress Critics' category and 'Best Female Debut' category, and I celebrated that. For my parents, my family and me it is a very big deal that we are sitting with such people. Toh award mile naa mile, ghar aake bohot acchese celebrate kiya tha maine. Nominations celebrate karlo" she added.

She will be next seen in Homi Adajania's Angrezi Medium.The film is the spin-off to the 2017 comedy Hindi Medium and stars Irrfan Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepak Dobriyal, Ranvir Shorey, and Radhika Madan. Angrezi Medium releases on 13 March 2020.

you mean, she was nominated for two films under Best Actress Critics, as there is no seperate category. Both Best Actress Critics, and Critics Best Actor is same.
