Producers Shashi Sumeet Mittal's special dedication for Aryan Sharma!

Young and talented actor Aryan Sharma, who is best known for his role of Chotu in Shashi Sumeet Mittal’s popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum (Star Plus) is on cloud nine these days. Post leap, Aryan is not a part of the show as Chotu's character will be essayed by actor Randeep Rai but ‘Aryan’ will always be a part of the show.

We hear from our source that, “The popular character Chotu of Diya Aur Baati Hum has got a new name post leap on the show. Post leap, the elder Chotu will be known as Aryan Sharma. Aryan Sharma is the real name of the young actor who essayed the character of Chotu in the show. Seeing Aryan’s work and recognition, the producers Shashi Mittal and Sumeet Mittal have dedicated this to Aryan.”

Sharing his happiness and excitement on the same, Aryan told us, "I have worked for three n half years with this show and have learn a lot of things. I didn't have a prominent role but still people used to recognize me as Chotu. Some of my scenes have worked really well. I am very attached to Shashi Ma'am and Sumeet Sir and they treat me like their child. I call Sumeet Sir as Devanand as he has a Tattoo on his left hand which is of Lord Shiva which reminds me of the famous song Jai Jai Shiv Shankar. The producers have dedicated this name to me as I had a long associated with the show and I did my part well. Our creative Shweta di called me and shared this good news with me. I was very happy and overwhelmed to know this. Now, everyone will recognize me as Aryan Sharma as well along with Chotu. It's a great feeling to see Chotu getting a name on my real name which is dedicated to me. I am feeling happy and proud that I did my job well and I get a prize for it."
