Priyanka – Farhan – Zaira starrer The Sky Is Pink first poster out! Check out the pictures below

Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf starrer The Sky Is Pink is based on the life and struggles of deceased motivational speaker, Aisha Chaudhary who will be portrayed by Zaira. While, Priyanka and Farhan will be seen portraying the Aisha’s parents and Rohit will be playing her brother.

After months of anticipation from the fans, the makers of The Sky Is Pink took to their social media handle and shared the first poster of the film. Sharing the poster they wrote, “In this family, crazy doesn’t skip a generation! We bring to you #TheSkyIsPink trailer tomorrow at 10 am!”

Earlier yesterday, RSVP had shared a few behind-the-scenes photos of Priyanka and Farhan, trying to get the audience hyped up for the movie.

Before Bollywood, the movie was selected to be showcased at the 44th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The film had its world premiere as part of the Gala Presentation at TIFF.

For the unversed, Aisha Chaudhary was a motivational speaker and an author of the book My Little Epiphanies which was published a day before she passed away. Her father, Niren Chaudhary, is the president of South Asia operations for American fast food company YUM! While, her mother Aditi Chaudhary is a mental healthcare worker. 

Aisha also had an elder brother Ishan Chaudhary and she was born with an immune deficiency disorder due to which she had to undergo a bone marrow transplant. As a consequence of the transplant, Aisha was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, a breathing disorder where the lungs are scarred. Aisha was giving motivational speeches ever since she was 15. She also spoke at the TEDx in Pune in 2013. She passed away in 2015 in Gurgaon. 

The Sky is Pink is produced by RSVP and Roy Kapur Films, in association with S K Global and Purple Pebble Pictures. The film, which is helmed by Shonali Bose, is slated to release on October 11, 2019. And the trailer for the movie will be released tomorrow.
