Priyanka Chopra recently delighted her fans by sharing a photo dump from the sets of her 2014 movie Gunday. The pictures took fans back to 2013, when Priyanka shot for Ali Abbas Zafar's buddy-action film alongside Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor.
The Instagram post was a treasure trove of memories. Priyanka shared several stills, including behind-the-scenes moments and glamorous looks from the movie. One highlight was a frame from the iconic dance number Tune Maari Entriyaan, showing Priyanka with Ranveer and Arjun. Another featured Ranveer playfully peeking through a curtain. The post also included a group photo with the crew, capturing the spirit of a tough but rewarding shoot day.
In her caption, Priyanka fondly remembered the experience, writing, “I was going through my phone and these pictures popped up in my memories. Anyone remember this? One of the most fun jobs ever! Incredible locations, the most fun cast and crew, and the lovely @aliabbaszafar who brought us together. Good memories are made by good people. Circa 2013.” She added Tune Maari Entriyaan as background music, further fueling nostalgia for her fans.
Director Ali Abbas Zafar responded warmly, commenting, “Yes, lovely memories are made with lovely people. Please come back; Indian films are missing you.” Fans echoed his sentiment, urging Priyanka to return to Bollywood. One wrote, “We miss you here,” while another pleaded, “Please come back.”
Although Priyanka was initially cast in Ali’s 2019 epic Bharat with Salman Khan, she opted out due to her wedding with Nick Jonas. Katrina Kaif later replaced her. Priyanka's last Indian film was The Sky Is Pink (2019).
Currently, Priyanka is focused on Hollywood projects like Heads of State and The Bluff, along with the second season of her hit show Citadel. Fans, however, continue to hope for her grand Bollywood comeback.
