Prithvi re-enters Junoon with a bang!

Many a hearts were broken when Prithvi (Aditya Redij) was shown dead in the show Junoon-Aisi Nafrat toh Kaisa Ishq! Fans of Meera (Mouni Roy) and Prithvi were wanting more and so a lookalike character Ishwar (played by Aditya Redij again) was introduced in the show.

This was all to gain good TRPs for the show but however, despite Aditya's entry as Ishwar the TRPs refused to show an upward trend and the fate of the show was in doldrums. Now to boost the TRPs again the age old formula of getting back the popular character shown dead is being used by the makers of Junoon.

Yes, you heard it right! Prithvi is coming back to the show and in Meera's life yet again. The story it seems goes like this - Meera is in a crisis situation and Prithvi is the one who saves her. Our very reliable source throws light on the story, "Yes, Meera is kidnapped and Prithvi comes as her savior. His entry is supposed to be very dhamakedaar and the creative team is working overtime to make it as exciting as possible."

So what happens to Ishwar? "Well, for the time being Ishwar will be a bit sidelined and the focus will again shift to Meera and Prithvi. Ishwar will be kept slightly away from the story till the time there needs to be a boost again!"

When we called Aditya, he too confirmed the news of his entry saying, "Yes, Prithvi will be coming back in Junoon. It was an unexpected move for me too!" Aditya who will start shooting for the sequence tomorrow says, "Actually, even though I knew that I will be back as Prithvi some time later, it came as a complete shocker for me when they told me about it day before yesterday. For any actor you need time to think and prepare for something as important as this, but I got zero time for any preparation. I needed time to think about how to make the character look different and nice."

Aditya is also not happy with the way the show is being handled, "These twists and turns have twisted my brains" he claims as the story is moved around and jumps as per the latest TRPs. Not sounding too happy about his entry, Aditya says,"It's Okay... I am not interested! All I can say is I am happy doing Ishwar and I am happy doing Prithvi too!" 

Well, maybe Aditya can take solace from the fact that all the fans of Meera and Prithvi sure will be overjoyed with this news!
