No Garba for Shrenu Parikh this Navratri: Focus shifts to December wedding with beau Akshay Mhatre

Shrenu Parikh, renowned for her role in Zee TV's "Maitree," is gearing up for her upcoming wedding with boyfriend Akshay Mhatre in December. This year, the avid Garba enthusiast has decided to forgo the Navratri festivities due to her impending nuptials.

Speaking to ETimes, Shrenu shared that both she and Akshay are ardent fans of the grand Garba celebrations in Vadodara. However, this Navratri holds special significance for her, as she will be dedicating her time to wedding preparations and shopping. Shrenu expressed her desire to partake in Garba, even if it's just for one day, provided she receives blessings from Amba maa.

The actress also reminisced about the previous year's Navratri when Akshay visited her parents for the first time. Although he didn't participate in the Garba, he thoroughly enjoyed the festive atmosphere and the enthusiastic crowd.
