Priyadarshan's much awaited Billu Barber is all set to make some sort of a mark on its audience. The album has variety of genres, something for everyone. Not to forget, this time Pritam has experimented with his songs by using a wide range of singers. In total the album contains 15 tracks from which many are remixes.
'Ae Aa O' is a soundtrack that may not make your hit list but may end up in your iPods and MP3 players. The sensational Kay Kay has added his touch to the song along with newcomers, Rana Mazumder and Suraj. 'Ae Aa O' is also available in a single remix.
Next in line is the typical song you would find villagers singing. 'Billo Bhaya nkar' is a song in which Billu's character is described. This soundtrack marks the debut of Ajay Jhingran, Kalpana and Raghuveer to the Bollywood music industry. "Billo Bhayankar" is a situational song for the film.
A movie's soundtrack can't be complete without the slow, easy going sufi songs. 'Jahoon Kahan' sung by the ever green, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is something that will find its place on your not-so-great days. Jahoon Kahan is another situational song for the movie.
Probably the biggest hit of this album, 'Marjaani' is sung by incredible, Sukhwinder Singh along with remarkable, Sunidhi Chauhan. In this song, you will be seeing SRK dancing with Kareena Kapoor. This fast track will with a doubt, make it to your music hit list. 'Marjaani' has been remixed twice: Electro House and Kilogram Balkan's Mix.
'You Get Me Rockin & Reeling' stars non other than our Piggy Chops (Priyanka Chopra) and King Khan himself. Good lyrics and good music; it may end up on the chartbusters. This song also has two other versions: Remix and Video Edit.
Billu Barber gets 3 out 5 chillies!
