Music N Masti - Bollywoods Top 10!
Check out this weeks top 10 chartbusters! Read on to know more.
Welcome to another take of Music 'N' Masti!
Film: Ishqiya
Singers: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan
Music: Vishal Bharadwaj
Surprise Surprise! This may have left our charts a while back, but returns for having remained a favourite with the audience. A soothing track with lovely lyrics that remind us of the simplicity of love and the frivolous little beating organ we all own!
9. Uff Teri Ada
Film: Karthik
Calling Karthik
Singers: Alyssa Mendonsa, Shankar Mahadevan
Music:
Ehsaan Loy, Punditz
Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's quirky composition remains
in the running! Alyssa Mendonsa's wispy vocals coupled with the funky
beat are just what you need to get your feet moving!
Film: Love Sex Aur Dokha
Singers: Kailash Kher
Music: Sneha Khanwalker
Lyrics: Debakar Banerjee
LSD is something a little more... risque than the audience is used to. However, the composition is interesting and has become a popular hit with the crowd - if you've missed it, go clubbing more often!
Lyrics: Nasir Faraaz and Asif Ali Beg
Whilst the release of Kites is being eagerly awaited, the music has already hit off on a successful chord, making it's way to the charts hence. The beat of this track is sweet for somebody looking for something substantial; however the song seems a little outdated when compared to the rest of our upbeat tracks.
Singers: Salim Merchant
Whilst Bekarar rules charts, it seems that Paathshala's Aye Khuda ruled our readers' hearts! Due to popular demand we give this little gem a place in this week's top 10.
Whilst Ayaashi made it in to our charts last week, this week's winner is Chaska which definitely tops the album! Krishna does a good job lending his vocals though Pritam's work falls short of his Dan Te Nan composition for 2009's Kaminey.
Film: Hum Tum Aur Ghost
Singers: Caralisa Monteiro, Shankar Mahadevan, Dominique Cerejo, Clinton Cerejo
Unlike the sweet Dekho Rate Mein of the same album, Kal Tum takes on a more solemn note. However the singers, more notably Caralisa, do a great job whilst Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's trademark composition stop this from becoming too mopey!
3. Oh Mere Khuda
Film: Prince
Singers: Atif Aslam, Garima Jhingon
Music: Sachin Gupta
Another track that manages to cling on to the charts! Despite the uninspiring lyrics, Aslam and Garima and Gupta team up to make this track work.
Film: Housefull
Singers: Shabbir Kumar, Sunidhi Chauhan
Music:
Shankar-Ehsan-Loy
Whether it's a choice between this week's No. 1
or last week's chartbuster, Housefull retains the top
position! Shabbir Kumar makes a comeback with this sweetly hilarious
and surprisingly catchy track.
Let us know your favourite songs this week and you may just find it in the next week's charts!
