Mukta Dhond on wanting Celesti Bairagey to play the role of Rajjo

Popular producer Mukta Dhond, who has been responsible for a show like Divya Dristhi and others, is all set to come up with new show on Star Plus called Udti Ka Naam Rajjo. There has already been a buzz in the media about the lead of the show.

And that is because the show will mark debut of Alia Bhatt's doppelganger, Celesti Bairagey on Indian Television. She will be playing female lead in the show. 

Producer Mukta Dhond on wanting Celesti to play the role of 'Rajjo', "I wanted Celesti Bairagey to portray 'Rajjo' because she is a talented individual who showed me exactly what I wanted the actress for 'Rajjo' to be. As soon as I encountered Celesti, I knew it in my heart that she is the spitting image of 'Rajjo'. Her innocence is something quite similar to Rajjo's, which made it easier for her to relate to the character and embody the role with less effort than anyone else. I'm absolutely sure about my decision, and I do not believe she resembles anyone but herself."

'Udti Ka Naam Rajjo' is a show where we get to see the complicated story of a young, spirited girl who is exceptionally talented in athletics but has no one to cheer for her. In these circumstances, she encounters a reluctant 'hero', and seeks shelter from a tragedy which shook her entire life.
