Minissha Lamba breaks silence on undergoing plastic surgery rumours, calls it ‘ridiculous’

Actress Minissha Lamba made her Bollywood debut in 2005 with Shoojit Sircar's Yahaan, and then worked in many films and a few shows including Bachna Ae Haseeno, Corporate, Zilla Ghaziabad and Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.  

While her films failed to make everlasting noise, she is still remembered for her charming looks. Several rumours had it that Minissha went under the knife and opted for plastic surgery to maintain her ‘girl-next-door look’. 

In a recent interaction with RJ Siddharth Kannan, the actress reacted to the rumours about plastic surgery and said:

“No, not at all. Girl-next-door look maintain karne ke liye plastic surgery karna (Undergoing plastic surgery to maintain the girl-next-door look)… I mean, that is ridiculous. But I would say no.”

However, Minissha says that such rumours are not new to her and are common in this industry. She added:

“See, as an actor, you are used to rumours. It’s not like something like this comes out for the first time or something like that. Rumours come out all the time and if you are in this line, you have to be thick-skinned.”

Recently, Minissha Lamba also made headlines when she revealed that currently she is in a ‘happy relationship’ after she announced her separation with husband and restaurateur Ryan Tham in 2020. The couple filed for divorce last year after five years of marriage. They had tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in 2015.
