Blake Lively has been winning us over with her Met Gala 2022 outfit as she wore a shimmery Versace gown, but that was not it as it transformed while she walked along the carpet with husband Ryan Reynolds at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. The two were co-hosts of the event and while Ryan stuck to the ever so classic tuxedo by Ralph Lauren, Lively looked every bit artsy and the custom dress suited her by every bit. Her dress was inspired by Art Deco design and some of most famous buildings in New York.
The theme for this year's Met Gala was 'Glided Glamour and White Tie'. A video of how Blake's gown transforms has also been doing rounds on social media and while it was a flared up pink metallic gown, it transformed into a bigger turquoise train with sparklers as some men unfolded her train from the first outfit.
Lively's outfit and the transformation, to say the least, has all our attention and fans can't seem to get enough. “The queen of the Met," one user wrote. “Blake Lively never disappoints," wrote another user. “Blake slays year after year," commented a third user.

She also went on to mention how the dress is a homage to New York City and so many of the classic, iconic buildings. She also pointed out subtle references and said, “This is detailing from the Empire State Building, some of the draping from the Statue of Liberty…(and) the constellation from Grand Central Station."
Lively also attended Anna Wintour’s exclusive pre-Met Gala dinner in New York City.
