Manoj Bajpayee Hails Diljit Dosanjh Ahead of ‘Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari’ Re-Release

As the highly anticipated re-release of Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari approaches, Manoj Bajpayee reflects on the film’s delightful journey and his camaraderie with the cast and crew which is set to hit cinemas again on 18th October. Ahead of the release, Manoj shared some heartfelt insights on working alongside global sensation Diljit Dosanjh, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and the rest of the talented cast.

"I have had one of the best shooting experiences while filming Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari. I remember annoying Annu Sir (Annu Kapoor) by singing the wrong lyrics, but we got along very well," reminisces Bajpayee. "Diljit is a gem of a person despite having achieved so much at such a young age; he is really very grounded. Fatima has had such an amazing journey, she has become a good friend. And it's always a delight working with Seema and Manoj Pahwa, we go a long way."

On collaborating with director Abhishek Sharma, Bajpayee adds, "I really loved working with Abhishek. It was very heartwarming, and I am definitely looking forward to collaborating with him in the future."
