Mother is someone to whom praises are just not enough. The way she brings her children up with tender loving care, that fair share of admonition and the good dose of worldly wisdom, is just splendid.

Many or say most of times, a mother is taken for granted. Her affection gets back indifference. But deep inside everyone knows no one can replace 'mom'. And if it weren't for her, our lives would've been a lot more deprived.

I can never tell about my mom in a sentence. It's a topic I can go on and on about.

Everyday of my life, she tends for me, thinks about me. Especially when I'm not with her, these little everyday matters mean a big deal to me. They turn me emotional.

What is the worst threat you've received from your mother?
I've never received threats from my mom. In fact she removes all my fears. Whenever, I feel down, she comforts me.

Do you resemble your mom?
A few say I've gone on my mom, few say I look like my dad. But there's a beauty spot on my chin and my mom has one too on the exact same spot (smiles).

What traits have you inherited from her?
I don't know…I feel my whole family is similar in behavior.

What's your special message to her on Mother's Day?
There's no custom of saying 'I love you' in my house.  So since its mother's day, I'd like to take this occasion to say – 'Mom, I love you. I always want you to be happy.'

She's a very dedicated, hardworking, sweet mother and I'm very blessed to be born to her.

She always keeps the whole family's priority ahead of her priorities. That almost always moves me to tears.

What is the worst threat you've received from your mother?
When I was young I always used to get beaten up…now that I've grown she doesn't even scold me.

Do you resemble your mom?
Nooo. Unfortunately no…she's a very pretty lady.

What traits have you inherited from her?
Her hardworking nature and I guess temper too.

What's your special message to her on Mother's Day?
I love you mamma, thank you for being there for me always.

My mom is my whole life.

Back in my hometown, one night I realized my mom wasn't sleeping next to me. When I went looking for her I found my mom sitting by the window wide eyed. When I asked her why she wasn't sleeping, she explained to me that she never sleeps. She keeps an eye out for our protection and only sleeps in the early morning. That was really touching that she sacrifices her sleep for ours.

What is the worst threat you've received from your mother?
I've always been a good boy, so never been at the receiving end of my mom's threats.

Do you resemble your mom?
Yes, very much.

What traits have you inherited from her?
Her hardworking nature.

What's your special message to her on Mother's Day?
I love you mom, and I can trade the whole world for you.

When my mom trusted me enough to leave Chandigarh and come work in Mumbai.

I've never got scolding from my mother. It's my younger sister who keeps getting them (laughs). I'm the well-behaved child.

Yes I think I do. Whatever good things you find in my face, all the credit goes to her. And whatever flaws, if at all, you can make out…that's my dad (laughs).

What traits have you inherited from her?
Her sense of judging character and her character too.

What's your special message to her on Mother's Day?
I owe it all to you. I love you. I always want to be with you and like you.

My emotional strength is my mom.

My mom, right from waking me up in the morning, takes care of everything. That's really touching.

My mom's a sweetheart. I can never really be scared of her (laughs).

I don't feel I resemble either of my parents.

I think my long nose …and my emotional strength.

I've never really received any threats from her…I was not that mastikhor (naughty).

I look very much like my mom.

I'm totally opposite to her. I've not inherited a single of her good qualities and there are no bad qualities in my mum!
