Last month, Salman Khan announced the sequel to 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan.' The sequel is being written by S S Rajamouli's father, KV Vijayendra Prasad, and will be titled 'Pawan Putra Bhaijaan,' according to the actor.

Kabir Khan, who directed the first successful instalment, has now confirmed that the film is in the works. In an interview with a news website, the filmmaker revealed that Salman is calling the sequel 'Pawan Putra Bhaijaan,' and that he announced the film because he is excited about it.

Kabir Khan added that while he has not read the script, he believes KV Vijendra will write something exciting. In response to the possibility of directing 'Pawan Putra Bhaijaan,' Kabir Khan stated that he would never make a sequel to his film only because the first one was a success. His only condition to direct a sequel is if he finds a great story.

Salman Khan is currently shooting 'Tiger 3', which is set to hit theatres in December 2022. Aside from that, he has 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' with Pooja Hegde, 'Kick 2' with Jacqueline Fernandez, and a sequel to 'No Entry.' The actor has also appeared in Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathan' and Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha' in cameo roles.
