John Abraham congratulated Akshay Kumar for Mission Mangal’s release; Khiladi Kumar has a hilarious reply!

Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and John Abraham have always been the best of friends even if they were pitted against each other, by the audience, when their individual movies released on the same day. Recently, their newly released Batla House and Mission Mangal clashed at the box-office.
Both the movies were released on 15th August, Independence Day, and are earning fairly well. While Mission Mangal has earned more than Rs 70 crores in three days; Batla House stands at a total three-day collection of more than Rs 35 crore.
Before this Akshay and John also clashed at the box-office last year when their movies Gold and Satyameva Jayate had released on the Independence Day.

At the launch of the trailer of Mission Mangal, Khiladi Kumar had replied to the same question by saying, “As John had said, ‘Make some noise for Desi boys’. We have only 52 weeks in a year and more than 100 films are coming in a year. We are friends, so there is no problem in coming together with our films. Nobody should be blamed for it. Now 2-3 films are coming together. In the future, we will have even more films coming together.”

He said that he messaged Akshay and congratulated him for Mission Mangal's release. In return, the 51-year-old actor replied saying, "I am happy for you too. It's time we work together." John further said, "It's so nice and healthy when the camaraderie is not competitive but healthy. Both the films are being appreciated."
Adding more about Batla House, he said, "People are loving every moment of it."
John Abraham and Akshay Kumar have worked together in total 3 films Garam Masala (2005), Desi Boyz (2011) and Housefull 2 (2012). All the movies were received greatly by the audiences and the actors have received many accolades for their ventures. Akki even did a cameo in John and Varun Dhawan starrer Dishoom in 2016.
