It’s Janhvi Kapoor Vs Sara Ali Khan for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 opposite Kartik Aaryan!

After 12 years to the 2007 comedy hit, Bhool Bhulaiyaa starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan, the makers are now all set for part 2! Ever since the news of the second part of the franchise rolling out came forward, the speculations about the new lead cast among fans were on a rise. 

While Kartik Aaryan has been locked as the male protagonist in the film, the search for the female lead is still on. And the latest buzz is that it’s going to be debutants Janhvi Kapoor Vs Sara Ali Khan to bag the role opposite the Luka Chuppi actor. 

As per a report in Pinkvilla, a source quoted, "The makers T-Series along with Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde want a younger cast for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and right now, the script is being finalised. They have a few options in mind. It will mostly be a pick between Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan. Both of them have positioned themselves really well and now, it depends on who can schedule their dates for the film."

The source further went on to talk about the second instalment of the film and stated that like the original, the female lead has an extremely important role in the sequel too. “It's a fresh story which will have no connection to part one. The lead actress' part is a really challenging one and the makers want someone who can not only act but also look really good opposite Kartik. Once the script is finalised, they will start approaching actresses," quoted the source. 

What’s interesting is that be it either Sara or Janhvi, both the actresses have already bagged one film each opposite the new heartthrob of B-Town, Kartik! While Kartik and Sara will be seen together in Imtiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal, the actor will play the role of siblings with Janhvi in Dostana 2.
