"I am very worried about my image, because it has taken long to build it" - Millind Gaba on 'Bigg Boss OTT'

Bigg Boss OTT was launched only today and the mix of contestants that are being introduced this year is indeed very interesting. From some of the most popular TV faces to social media influencers and a couple of musical people as well. Two singers are a part of the show - Neha Bhasin and Millind Gaba. 

And talking about Gaba, this is the singer's first reality show and India Forums has an exclusive conversation with him talking about what led him to take up Bigg Boss OTT and several other things.

What made you choose Bigg Boss this year?

One of the first reasons to choose the show has to be that my mother is a huge fan of the show. When the show aired previous seasons, my mother would stop cooking and make sure to catch up on it. Another reason is I am spiritually inclined to Maa Vaishnodevi. When I got the offer, I was travelling to do the darshan, and I took that as a signal.

Do you have image concerns while set to participate in the show?

I am definitely worried about my image, I won't lie. Because, it has taken years to build it up. Many nights have taken over to become an 'overnight success' as people term it. But I am like this only. I cannot be a bad person or negative in the house, I like being positive and will keep that. 

But the show has a history of testing patience and exploring an unknown side. Is that your fear as well?

I don't fear anything actually. I have nothing to lose. Fortunately, my career is blooming and I have been working in Bollywood elsewhere. This is a challenge I have taken up and I am glad about it. But yes, hypocrisy puts me off, I am allergic to that. Double standards and unnecessary attitude also puts me off. I expect basic goodness from people and I will give the same. 

Neha Bhasin is another singer joining you in the show. Do you plan to explore your musical side as well?

I only know Neha through the industry. I have done a couple of shows earlier where she has been a part of it as well. She was following or was performing before my act. I haven't had an interaction with her so far. I hope music will be a reason that will act as a bond between her and I in the show. I hope we will be a good team. I will be singing innumerable songs, I will be narrating shayaris and poems and having a lot of fun.

How have you planned yourself if you manage to shift from the OTT to televised version?

I have never been away from my family for such a long time. This was killing me indeed. I am just hoping there will be a lot of talking and a lot of fun and I hope days will just pass by.
